<p>The high school volleyball season continues to progress at full pace in Texas as district play is underway for most of the teams all around the Lone Star State and just like that, we made it to October.</p>

<p>Play continues to develop at full pace on Tuesday, October 8, with hundreds of matches taking place in the state, some of which are very promising ones, reuniting teams that look poised to have excellent seasons.</p>

<p>We picked three of them to feature as you prepare for an intense day of high school action in Texas:</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Keller vs. Keller Central - 5:30 PM @ Keller HS</h2>

<p>Starting in the Dallas area, the District 4 duel between the rivals Keller Indians and Keller Central Chargers should be full of excitement. Keller have been one of the strongest teams in the state this season, holding a 21-3 win record, with eight wins and just one loss in district play. Senior outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='751915' first='Carley' last='Wright'] (238 kills, 163 digs, 136 passes), junior right side Lilly Boatner (214 kills), junior setter/right side [player_tooltip player_id='253969' first='Anna' last='Flores'] (650 assists, 126 kills, 229 digs, 43 aces), junior libero Lauren Scheiden (300 digs, 254 passes, 25 aces) and junior middle Sophee Dean (146 kills, 50 blocks) are all having excellent seasons.</p>

<p>Keller Central have 24 wins and 15 losses so far in the season and are not too far behind in the district standings, with seven victories and three losses. Some of the team's standouts are junior outside hitter Mariabella Crouch (281 kills, 208 digs, 365 passes), senior middle Judi Bolomboy (238 kills, 66 blocks, 97 digs), senior setters Britney Hoover (433 assists, 149 digs, 30 aces) and Addison Richardson (388 assists, 132 digs, 34 aces) and senior libero Addison Ortega (610 digs, 519 passes, 25 aces). </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">College Park vs. Grand Oak - 5:30 PM @ College Park HS</h2>

<p>In Houston, the College Park Cavaliers and the reigning state champions Grand Oaks Grizzlies will clash in District 13. College Park have been very good, with 24 wins and nine losses and rank third in the district with eight wins and two losses. Junior middle [player_tooltip player_id='209539' first='Lacy' last='Tinnell'] (219 kills, 53 blocks), sophomore outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='527641' first='Sadie' last='Kendrick'] (153 kills, 98 digs, 258 passes), junior outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='230851' first='Reese' last='Ellen'] (146 kills, 66 digs), junior setter [player_tooltip player_id='225147' first='Caroline' last='Prihoda'] (391 assists, 198 digs, 42 aces) and senior libero Morgan Madison (480 digs, 422 passes, 33 aces) form the core of the team.</p>

<p>Grand Oaks seem to be on a good pace to repeat as state champions having made it this far in the season with 30 wins and six losses - they're also undefeated in district play with ten victories. Senior outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='180175' first='Samara' last='Coleman'] (149 kills, 73 digs, 111 passes), junior outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='318128' first='Halle' last='Thompson'] (145 kills, 99 digs, 151 passes), junior setter [player_tooltip player_id='452249' first='Samantha' last='Sampson'] (337 assists, 64 digs), junior right side [player_tooltip player_id='235512' first='Hailey' last='Lotspeich'] (34 kills, 75 digs, 17 aces) and junior libero [player_tooltip player_id='235997' first='Cali' last='Reece'] (119 digs, 161 passes, 25 aces) give the team amazing production on the court. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Rouse vs. Liberty Hill - 6:30 PM @ Rouse HS</h2>

<p>Heading to Austin, keep an eye out for the District 25 encounter between the Rouse Raiders and the Liberty Hill Panthers. Rouse had ups and downs during the season, with 16 wins and 22 losses, but have been competitive in district play, ranking fourth with four wins and three losses. With sophomore outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='693892' first='Avery' last='Ralston'] (376 kills, 241 digs, 507 passes, 39 aces), senior outside hitter Jade Key (353 kills, 284 digs, 649 passes, 55 aces), junior setter Addison Lundquist (1,000 assists, 173 digs, 50 aces), senior libero [player_tooltip player_id='179911' first='Mary' last='Schirpik'] (638 digs, 515 passes, 37 aces) and junior middle Tatum Taylor (123 kills, 47 blocks), they can be tough opponents to anyone.</p>
