She earned more and more playing time throughout the season until she became a key player on the court. With her powerful swing, she racked up some huge kills in matches. Additionally, she showed off another impressive skill this season—setting! The junior has a competitive mindset and will do whatever it takes to stay on the court, whether it's hitting, setting or passing. Her hard work helped her high school finish undefeated in league play and go on to win the 4A state championship. Whether it's a deep tip or a powerful hit, she knows how to find holes on the court. She was one of the top players at Cimarron-Memorial this season, helping the team earn first place in their league and secure a spot in the playoffs. In addition, she showcases her versatility in the front row, racking up blocks and occasionally setting in out-of-system situations. She made some jaw-dropping saves and always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. During her school's playoff run, she showed consistent hustle and determination in every match. Miguel has a wide range of elite passing techniques and gives it her all on every play. She excels at out-of-system setting and making the most of tough situations. Her reading skills continue to impress, and her passing angles keep getting sharper. She's got a super powerful swing and can deliver perfect passes from the back row. Her vertical jump is crazy for her height, giving her the edge against taller blockers. This is her first varsity season, and she's put up some impressive numbers–175 kills, 151 digs, and 45 aces.
