Seven More Kansas Prospects Registered For Top 250 Expo

She had a solid sophomore season with the Ellinwood Eagles finishing with 343 digs and 276 serve receptions. She is a talented athlete who will look to turn heads at this event. She played primarily at the junior varsity level last season, but did record 14 kills in 17 sets of varsity action.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='512867' first='Amaya' last='Thi']</strong>, 5'6”, OH/DS, Shawnee Mission North, ‘27</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Thi is currently ranked No. 55 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027. The Bison did not post stats on Max Preps last season. I did see Thi play and she was one of the better players on a struggling team. She played setter for the Bison but she often hits or plays defensive specialist for her club team. She did receive all-tournament recognition at two prep tournaments as a sophomore. She also competed at the Prep Dig Showcase last August.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='531017' first='Teagan' last='Marrs']</strong>, 5'11”, OH/MB, Bishop Carroll, ‘27</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Marrs is currently ranked No. 71 overall in the class of 2027. Marrs is a multiple sport prospect at Bishop Carroll. The Wichita area prospect also plays softball. I saw Horton compete in summer league action but missed them during the regular season. Stirton played a key role for Horton as a sophomore with a stat line that included 257 digs, 304 serve receptions, 90 kills, and 12 blocks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='719106' first='Delaney' last='Duerksen']</strong>, 5'4”, OH, Goessel, ‘28</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I have not seen Duerksen play, but she appears to have a solid season for the Goessel Bluebirds. She recorded 219 kills, 376 digs, 331 serve receptions, and 82 aces. I am interested to see if she plays club ball and with which club. This is a perfect event for a young small school prospect to show off her skills. Kudos to the Goessel coaching staff for having stats on Max Preps.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='562061' first='Amaya' last='Jimenez']</strong>, 5'7”, OH, Olathe Northwest, ‘28</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jimenez was not included on Olathe Northwest's stat age, so I will make an educated guess that she played junior varsity or freshman ball for Northwest. She plays club ball with [program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last=''] and does have some video footage available on HUDL.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
