Our post-tournament coverage has gone around the dial across multiple positions. Among other features, we've discussed setters, middle blockers, and liberos who stood out on Nebraska's biggest prep stage. Now, let's use the tournament as a springboard for our 2025 pin outlook.

We're inching closer to a highly anticipated club season, and these pin hitters are worth following after ending this year's high school season in the state tournament.

Moone's explosiveness made her a must-watch athlete when she competed with Banzai VBC last spring. She was a star in the Great Plains Region Bid Tournament and earned a spot on our initial Top 25 in the 2027 rankings. That club season success was the precursor to Moone's successful sophomore campaign with Papio South in which she racked up nearly 200 kills. Her high contact point and quickness off the floor made her an ideal setting target in out-of-system situations, and we can't wait to see that athleticism flourish again in the spring.

Lamb brings a combination of physicality and versatility that will make her a fascinating prospect to watch next year. She played on the left side for Omaha Westside and had a productive 250-kill junior campaign. Lamb's experience on either pin gives her an advantage as she moves to a revamped [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] 17 Elite team for the club season. No matter what role she plays, Lamb will be a difference-maker.

Lauenstein and Waverly reached this year's Class B semifinals with a sophomore-stacked lineup. That bodes well for future seasons on the high school stage, but Lauenstein has already established herself as a dominant force. She led the Vikings in kills this fall while putting up one of Nebraska's loftiest ace totals. Lauenstein soared past 70 aces this season after registering five in Waverly's quarterfinal sweep over Bennington. This all-around game will serve Lauenstein well as she transitions to Premier Nebraska for club competition.

Wallraff's transition from the middle to the outside was as smooth as Elkhorn North could have hoped. The high-flying attacker remained near the top of Nebraska's overall kill leaderboards with over 550 during the regular season. Wallraff also showcased her repertoire across the back row this year--a rare feat for a converted middle blocker. We'll likely see this pin role take precedence when Wallraff represents next year's new-look [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] 16 Synergy squad.

Tichota's big 2024 calendar year started with Nebraska Elite, where she made a big impact with the club's top 16s group. She has now had back-to-back standout years with Yutan High School, culminating in a pair of tournament appearances. Tichota's 2024 kill tally exceeded 300, and she also made major backcourt strides as Yutan's most productive defender. Six-rotation stars remain a prevailing theme in this feature.

This [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] standout pushed Exeter-Milligan/Friend to new heights in Year 2 of the school's new co-op. Haase used her tournament tenure to push past 400 kills this season, and her contributions reach far beyond a single offensive tally. The Bobcats also trusted Haase to pass a large segment of the court and lock down the middle-back area as a defender. Haase's vast influence will extend into 2025.

Wardyn jumped onto our radar when she competed with South Central NE 14 Black at GJNC this summer. She's a rangy hitter who can go around, through, or over the top of well-formed blocks. That skill set allowed Wardyn to command a starting role in her debut season at York, where she finished with nearly 200 kills on the right side. As we expand our coverage of the small-town Nebraska club scene, keep Wardyn in view.
