NLQ gave us an extended glimpse at a brand-new VCNebraska 17 Elite lineup. Lamb seems to be acclimating well and has earned extensive six-rotation reps with her new team. It’s an impressive accomplishment for the Omaha Westside pin attacker who has seen plenty of high-level matches throughout her club career. As 17 Elite continues to build team cohesion, Lamb could emerge as a go-to player in various areas.

Lamb brings a combination of physicality and versatility that will make her a fascinating prospect to watch next year. She played on the left side for Omaha Westside and had a productive 250-kill junior campaign. Lamb’s experience on either pin gives her an advantage as she moves to a revamped VCNebraska 17 Elite team for the club season. No matter what role she plays, Lamb will be a difference-maker.

We’ve recently documented Premier Nebraska 16 Gold’s flexible pin lineup, particularly in the wake of April’s Show Me Qualifier. Lamb is a crucial piece of that puzzle with her ability to lock down both pin-hitting positions. This Omaha Westside attacker earned plenty of reps during last year’s state tournament and kept elevating her game in 2024. She brings the physicality and athleticism to succeed in the Open division, and that’s where we’ll find 16 Gold in Vegas.

We’re reminded of one of the biggest storylines surrounding Premier 16 Gold: pin lineups are fluid. This is especially true with Lamb and her hard-hitting counterpart,

. Lamb seamlessly jumped between the left and right pins this year and offered a ton of firepower in both spots. The Omaha Westside prep star has mastered her footwork in these roles and can anchor any block along the net. After a runner-up triumph at the Show Me Qualifier, Lamb and 16 Gold will likely keep up their mix-and-match approach for GJNC.

Young talent was asked to step up for Omaha Westside, and Lamb delivered. The sophomore outside hitter eclipsed 2.5 kills per set and used her unmatched power to dominate opposing blocks. A high-pressure postseason environment did not change Lamb’s unyielding onslaught along the net. She was made for the rigors of Class A competition, and that will persist for another couple of years.

Not many of Class A’s 2026s could match Lamb’s production at the outside hitter spot. The Omaha Westside sophomore easily eclipsed 200 kills this year and was second on the team in kills and digs. Lamb also absorbed more service reception than anyone on the Warrior lineup, demonstrating her willingness to anchor first contact without letting it affect her offense. Westside’s hard-hitting frontcourt should be just as formidable next year.
