The 6'1 Northern (*pictured/center) remains atop the 2026 rankings as she literally can play head and shoulders above most opponents in her class. The offensive leader in the [program_tooltip program_id='431851' first='MVC' last=''] in 2024 as the only attacker to reach over 400 total kills, Northern was a 2nd team all-Ohio selection in DIV. Her athleticism and physicality as an attacker are unmatched in this Ohio class as evidenced by her contact point and ability to score through a variety of options. She is committed to the recent NCAA DI national champion in Penn State and you can see her compete with her [program_tooltip program_id='431827' first='Elevation' last=''] 17 Chicas team starting with the Nike Classic in Columbus mid-January.

Snowbarger, an Indiana commit, was massive once again offensively over the high school season. Just shy of 1,400 total kills for her varsity career, she had her best output in her recent junior season with 535 kills for a 6.6 k/s average through a career best .377 efficiency. A DII 2nd team all-Ohio selection, she will once again help form a lethal corps of attackers for Mintonette's top 17U team, one for which she has scored a lot of points with her the pace and range she can develop off her arm. She and her team will open up their club competition at the Nike Classic.

Cugino moves up the rankings a bit as the Texas commit is one of the best ball control and defensive prospects in any class in Ohio. With 1,337 total digs after three varsity seasons with Oletangy Orange, she has a career average of 17.1 digs per match. A DI all-Ohio 1st team selection, Cugino is a catalyst for her Mintonette club team's big offense as she creates great opportunities for multiple options to be available often, which is why they are often a big favorite to finish on the podium in any event they are entered.

Matheny was all over the stat book for Bishop Hartley this past high school season. She led them in assists with 459, was second defensively with 167 total digs and 45 blocks, while also finishing second in total aces at 54. The anticipation for her return to her club team is big as the Indiana commit has led one of the nation's best offenses in their respective age group for several seasons with the core group of attackers and ball control they feature that includes two other Mintonette prospects in this top five.

The GGCL Player of the Year was fantastic in her junior season as she helped guide SUA (Cincinnati) to a DII state title. The Tennessee commit led the league with 458 total digs, one of two athletes to surpass the 400 mark. She returns to NKYVC with a squad that should be a big factor on the national scene in the 17U age division. Frietch and her team open their club tournament schedule in Indy on January 12.
