The Kansas Leaderboard: The 2027 400-Kill Club
Prep Dig Kansas Scouts feature athletes among the State Leaders.

<p>Class of 2027 athletes are next up to be featured by Prep Dig. In the past two weeks, I have featured leaders in multiple statistical categories. Some of the athletes were ranked and some were unranked.</p>

<p>This report features seven attackers who each reached the 400-kill threshold. I have seen all of these athletes play in person and each has been featured multiple times on Prep Dig.</p>

<p>Each athlete deserves the flowers and is preparing for the club season. Power League Qualifying events take place later this month and Power League play begins in January.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='483894' first='Sofia' last='Simic']</strong>, 6'0”, OH, Hoisington, ‘27</p>

<p>Prep Dig ranks Simic No. 9 overall. She finished with an eye-popping 729 kills in 99 sets. She is an outstanding prospect I have seen play club ball and for Hoisington, which qualified for the Class 3A State Tournament.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='483898' first='Nora' last='Burdiek']</strong>, 5'10”, OH, Rossville, ‘27</p>

<p>Burdiek is ranked No. 31 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027. She recorded 487 kills in 91 sets during her sophomore season.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='483955' first='Bailey' last='Bernal']</strong>, 5'9”, MB, Halstead, ‘27</p>

<p>Bernal helped lead Halstead to a State Championship season. She is ranked No. 17 overall by Prep Dig. She finished her sophomore season with 479 kills in 94 sets for the Dragons.</p>

<p>Holton's Wilson is ranked No. 4 overall by Prep Dig. She finished her sophomore season with 444 kills in 97 sets for the Wildcats.</p>
