Dotson puts good swings on balls and helps control the net with her blocking. Her size makes opponents tip over and around her. Dotson forms good double blocks with her teammates. Dotson adds in a sound jump serve. Dotson is a hustler on the court and provides good net coverage. One of her club coaches commended her for her communication on the court.
