Faulkner (pictured) has taken steps to dominate the back row. Faulkner reads hitters well then makes precise, controlled passes to the setter. Faulkner comes out of nowhere to make diving saves and keep plays alive. Faulkner handles both hard-hit balls and tips. Faulkner also does a great job communicating with her teammates. She’s poised for more growth during this club season.

She has turned into an aggressive, resilient back row player. She moves her feet quickly then squares her body up to balls to make solid passes.

Faulkner took some big steps in dominating the libero position like the club expects on a yearly basis. Her KIVA 16 Red head coach Melissa Starck-Bean wanted to see Faulkner grow in her resilience and Faulkner responded well in the three games Saturday. Faulkner hustled hard on defense and tracked down a number of balls. Faulkner is also a sound server.
