While I continue to build the first rankings for the Kansas Class of 2029, I scouted three 14U Power League matches in Lawrence on February 1.

One of the best matches I watched was a tight two-set tilt between [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power'] 14-2 and Shockwave 14-1.

Here is a look at six Wichita area prospects who impressed me in the Shockwave loss.

Profiles for each of these athletes have been created and athletes can claim their FREE profiles by using this link https://prepdig.com/prospect-index/#claim-profile-anchor

Athletes are encouraged to claim their profiles and add contact information and video highlights. Athletes with claimed profiles will get a slight advantage in the rankings at the onset.

Stay tuned today for one more report from 14U action on Saturday.

[player_tooltip player_id='747422' first='Collyns' last='Livermore'], 5'11”, OH/S, Kapaun Mt. Carmel, ‘29

Livermore is the clubhouse leader for the No. 1 slot in the Kansas Class of 2029 rankings. She is the most impressive eighth grader I have seen play so far this club season. She is all arms and all legs. She can elevate, hit, set, and play six rotations. She had a team-high nine kills in the loss. She also added six digs, two aces, and one block. She intends to attend Kapaun Mt. Carmel.

[player_tooltip player_id='747423' first='Zoey' last='Kincaid'], 5'9”, OH/DS, Andover Central, ‘29

A couple of future Andover Central Jaguars stood out for Shockwave. Kincaid was all over the court and is a six-rotation type athlete. She is quick and has good instincts. She has a serve with some “Frank's Hot Sauce” on hit. She collected nine digs, eight serve receptions, and three kills in the match.

[player_tooltip player_id='747424' first='Logan' last='Larkin'], 5'8”, OH/S, Bishop Carroll, ‘29

Larkin is another athlete on this team with versatility. She sets, hits, and plays solid defense in this lineup. She finished the match with a team-high 10 digs. She also recorded four serve receptions. She can jump and is a smooth setter. I think I would like this team better with her as the primary setter and Livermore hitting more often. However, both athletes are young, and the more they can do on the court the better as they get closer to being recruited.

[player_tooltip player_id='747425' first='Rylee' last='Triplett'], 5'5”, OH/DS, Wichita Northwest, ‘29

Triplett was the surprise on this squad. She plays with high energy and can elevate. She plays taller than her 5-foot-5 listed height. She registered six digs, three kills, and 10 serve receptions. She plans on attending Wichita Northwest.

[player_tooltip player_id='747426' first='Corbyn' last='Holcomb'], 5'4”, DS/L, Andover Central, ‘29

Holcomb is a spunky libero and a future Jaguar. She has quick feet and made consistent passes. She finished the match with six serve receptions and four digs. She also added an ace and her serve can sneak up on defenders. Her older sister [player_tooltip player_id='493581' first='Bella' last='Holcomb'] is a ranked athlete in the Kansas Class of 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='747427' first='Gracie' last='Liggett'], 5'11”, OH/MB, Trinity Academy, ‘29

Liggett is a tall prospect, who can only get better with experience. She had three kills for the Shockwave. Anytime a scout sees a 5-foot-11 eighth grader they are going to notice. She has a big reach and as I tell many young athletes, don't be afraid to hit the weight room and increase your strength. She looks like a dangerous front-row athlete.
