The third all star team contributed massively for their team at power league this past weekend. Each of these prospects differ in their strengths and weaknesses as players. The strengths of each player is at a caliber that college coaches will be intrigued to see when breaking down their film. All of these players have a great chance to be big contributors for college teams in 2026.

(S) [player_tooltip player_id='489770' first='Gyntre' last='Fletcher']: KNVBC 17 Showtime

Gyntre is an outspoken leader on the court who conducts the offense like a conductor in an orchestra. She understands the game so well that she's able to manipulate blockers with different route combinations. She uses her IQ to set her hitters up for success by creating openings for her hitters. Gyntre is technically sound with strong hands and wrists to be able to push the ball across the court. She does a fantastic job of beating her feet and hips to the ball to force opposing middles to stay neutral. Once she gets the ball out of her hands as quickly as she does it makes the opposing block to hesitate. Gyntre has all of the skills as a setter to be an impact starter at the next level.

(OH) [player_tooltip player_id='222091' first='Avery' last='Sands']: [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] 17 Black

Avery is primarily a defensive specialist or libero, but this past weekend she was able to showcase her ability to dominate in the front row. She has all of the tools in her toolbox on the offensive end. Whether she wants to tip, throw, roll, or swing at the ball she has the technique to execute all of those options at an elite level. Because of her background as a DS/L she mainly dominates the game in serve receive and back row defensively. Her ability to make hard serves look easy to pass is a skill that can't be taught. Defensively she has the same calmness and ease to dig balls outside of the typical range you expect from an outside. Avery is an all around volleyball player who can do anything you ask her to at a high level.

(OH) [player_tooltip player_id='542206' first='Grace' last='Collier']: Summit VC 17 National

Grace might not be the tallest but she's definitely one of the most athletic at the position from this past weekend. Grace's best offensive option is when she puts her body behind the ball and drives the ball through the floor. When she gets a hold of a ball it's almost impossible to dig. Her shots are effective because she spreads out the defense with her range and change of speeds. Being able to put a ball down and control off speed shots to a spot it makes it almost impossible to defend. Because of her athleticism she also helps her team a ton blocking against opposing right sides. It almost looks like she's able to float in the air and watch the hitter to be in the best position to block the ball. Grace still has a ton of potential to grow and become a great player at the next level.

(MB) [player_tooltip player_id='489787' first='Sophia' last='Smith']: Shockwave 17 Black

The first thing you notice when watching Sophia play is the foot quickness with length. Being able to close quickly to her sets or to be able to close blocks effectively is such a huge skill for the middle position. She's able to execute on any quick set your team could ask for. My personal favorite route watching her play is when she runs a back 1 set at an angle towards area 1 and beats the block inside to hit hard cross. The ability to create angles not only with her arm but with her approach is bar to none amongst her peers. Sophia has just as big of an impact both on offense from hitting and defense from blocking. Sophia's game is vast with high level skills and experience that college coaches dream of bringing onto their program.

(MB) Sandra Ingram: [program_tooltip program_id='698098' first='573' last='[program_tooltip program_id='490801' first='Missouri' last='Juniors'] 17 Dustin

Sandra is a powerful athlete who may not look the most technical but still executes at a high level. She is the type of player that wants to play at one speed which is to bounce the ball through the floor. When she gets a hold of a ball, unless the defender is in perfect position, it's almost impossible to stop. No matter if she is getting double or triple blocked she finds a way to find the small seams to blast the ball through. If she needs to use her off speed game she mainly uses a very short and low tip over the block. Having the ability to go at two totally different speeds she forces defenses to get on their heels to dig the hard driven ball. Defensively Sandra has the lateral quickness and explosive movements to close blocks and pressing hard over the net. Sandra has all of the athleticism to grow into a fantastic college player.

(RS) [player_tooltip player_id='355654' first='Rebekah' last='Slaughter']: MAVS 816 17 National

Rebekah might be the most dynamic hitter on the list, while also playing the setter position at a high level. As a right side she contacts the ball so high and hits the ball so fast that it's almost impossible for opposing defenses to read. She has great vision and understands what's open and takes full advantage of it. She mainly swings high and deep taking advantage of the corners of the court. Rebekah as a setter might be even more dynamic than her hitting. She has a quick release while keeping her contact point high. She does a great job of getting her hips under the ball to be able to manipulate the opposing defense. You put everything together and I wouldn't be surprised if she's recruited as either an opposite or a setter.

(L) [player_tooltip player_id='489777' first='Brea' last='Martin']: Shockwave 17 Black

Brea made the game look so easy. She's so relaxed when passing or digging that it almost takes away from the skill it takes to pass or dig. Her staying relaxed allows her to make quicker adjustments and play with the confidence you want to see from your libero. She takes full control of the back row with the range she plays the game with. She reads the game so well that she's able to cut off her hitters when passing or digging to open them up to hit. No matter the type of ball that is served or hit at her she usually puts the ball high in the middle of the court if not a perfect pass. Brea is the type of libero that coaches never have to worry about and trusts her to put her team in the best positions to win games.

The all star series for this past weekends power league tournament showcased 18 of the top recruits in the class of 2026 coming out of Kansas and Missouri. Each of these prospects showed exactly why they deserved to be in the all star list. I can't wait to see how each of these prospects grow and impact the game for their respective teams.
