Another busy weekend of qualifiers for many teams across the state of Missouri (and Kansas City). We saw first-time qualifiers and repeat qualifiers as teams headed down the home stretch with one month remaining. Here are some of the results from the weekend.

All The Lights

That's right, back to Minnesota for Northern Lights and some teams found success in the land of lakes. Starting in the 15 Open Division, two teams with Missouri players qualified again with second and third-place finishes. Mavs 15 Elite were the runner-ups going 8-2 over the tournament. The team had solid play from [player_tooltip player_id='729549' first='Jaelyn' last='Jordan'] and [player_tooltip player_id='543378' first='Olivia' last='Maciel'] in the three-day tourney. Finishing right behind them for what I believe is their third qualifying effort was Dynasty 15 Black, completing the weekend with an 8-1 record.

Moving to the 15 Liberty Division, 417 Juniors 15 Elite captured a bid after a second-place finish. Their only defeat was in the championship match. While watching the film, it looks like the team had strong play from [player_tooltip player_id='766342' first='Cora' last='Kubik']on the outside.

The 16's were in action also and in the American Division, while no teams qualified there were two teams on the brink with [program_tooltip program_id='698098' first='573' last='[program_tooltip program_id='490801' first='Missouri' last='Juniors']'] and PVA 15 National both tying for third place. There was a bid secured though in the Liberty Division. KC [program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last=''] 16 Stout captured the top prize. They went 9-1 over the weekend but found redemption beating the team that stopped a perfect record in the finals. [player_tooltip player_id='556998' first='Paisley' last='Hudson'] showed up big over the three days. Another Missouri team, Club North 16 Molley just missed out on a bid by finishing third.

Big South

While some teams went north, others went Big South to Atlanta for a run at a bid. We'll start in 16 USA where it appears HPSTL 16 Orange captured a big. I state it appears because the page doesn't say it but with a third-place finish and the champion previously qualified, I believe that to be the case. They dropped one match all weekend and won a very important third-place match to earn a trip to Nationals. They had solid play from [player_tooltip player_id='776729' first='Ava' last='Schuette'] and [player_tooltip player_id='618831' first='Albany' last='Humphrey'].

15 Open saw HPSTL 15 Royal be crowned champions going a perfect 10-0. They came in with a Freedom bid and left with the Open. [player_tooltip player_id='729596' first='Carina' last='Buttrum'] shined throughout the tournament in the back row. They got strong middle play from [player_tooltip player_id='729467' first='Gillian' last='Pfeiffer'].
