Pioneer Bid Tournament 15s, 16s Results

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dallas will be home to the USA National Tournament June 25 through 28 and the NKYVC Tsunami teams will be in the National Division after winning the respective Pioneer Region bids.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>16s Results</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This group saw eight teams trying to win the three bids to the national tournament. In addition to the three [program_tooltip program_id='481203' first='Northern' last='Kentucky Volleyball Club'] teams, Union and Alpha Performance sent two each and SKEVA sent one.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The NKYVC 16-1 Tsunami won all three pool play games soundly and the Union UA 16 Black teams also went 3-0 in pool play. The game against the NKYVC 16-2 Tide team wound up going three games.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The top two teams in each pool moved on to the championship round. The 16-1 Tsunami and UA 16 Black teams won the semifinal games in two before the title game went three games. But 16-1 Tsunami dominated that third game, 15-3 to take the National bid leaving UA 16 Black with the American bid. The NKYVC 16-2 Tide team won the final game to take the Freedom bid.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>15s Results</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 15-1 Tsunami won the National bid out of nine teams winning both pool play games then the semifinal and title game in two games. The Union 15 UA Black team and Alpha A.51 teams won both pool play games before NKYVC 15-1 Tsunami beat the A.51 team in the semifinals.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>That left the Alpha A.51 and NKYVC 15-2 Tide teams in the sixth championship round match. Jackson patrols the back row with authority and makes consistent two to three-point passes to start up the offense. When in the front row, Jackson has quick arm swings to deliver solid power into balls. Becker constantly moves her feet and goes hard after balls.
