Baxter once again ran the offense with great touches on her sets. Baxter sends balls forward and has mastered a number of sets including nines and fives. Baxter has figured out where the younger hitters want balls and sets them up in stride. Baxter said the North Oldham coaches work really well with setters to run a variety of plays.

Baxter gives the Mustangs amazing versatility. Baxter continues to better balls each game and practice. She sets balls away from blockers in a number of ways. Baxter mixes in setovers to give opponents something extra to consider. Baxter will have a bigger impact this year with another year of experience.

The UA 16 Black team is using Baxter’s versatility to its advantage. Baxter (pictured) can set balls at higher angles away from blockers and create good hitting angles at the net. Baxter continues to perfect her crafts including the setter dumps during club season. Baxter will improve with the depth on the club team.

Baxter (pictured) split time at the setter spot and took some swings from the right side for the Mustangs this past fall. She uses her height to set balls at solid angles away from blockers. Baxter consistently sets her feet at the right depth away from the net to make solid sets. North Oldham is so loaded that Baxter takes advantage of setter dumps. Baxter had 561 assists, 54 solo and 19 assisted blocks to go with 64 kills and 67 digs helping North Oldham to a 28-10 record, a 29th District crown and 8th Region title this past fall.
