Club Season Stock Risers in 17U Division

There were tournaments in St. Louis, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Chicago and everywhere in-between. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's probably a good time to reflect on what I witnessed. I saw her again four months later at the Windy City National Qualifier. She played well back in January and took another step forward throughout the club campaign. Anselme is a steady hand in the back row with smooth lateral movements and quick reaction time. Anselme follows the ball well on serve-receive and usually finds a way to deliver a usable pass. It's happened as a six-rotation player for PowerPlex, which won the Iowa regional. She's very sound in the back row, moving fluidly with quick reactions. Flanders stood up to serious pace at the 2025 Windy City NQ. She's made her greatest improvement in the power and consistency of her swing. She has a case to be ranked higher with her play this club season. She's grown in height and sharpened her skills to become more consistent. Hany hung tough with the talent in the 2025 Windy City NQ as a powerful two-way middle. In addition to height and length at the position, she's agile and athletic. There are a lot of good volleyball players in the Cedar Valley. The scouting opportunity did not disappoint with Keys standing out through six rotations. She's a hammer at outside hitter with explosion off of the floor and a strong swing. Keys also could succeed in the middle or on the right side with her talents. The ball made a loud sound coming off her swing on the right side. Corcoran provides power, which is partially generated from her leaping ability creating a downward angle for the ball. She's a skilled volleyball player that holds up well if she's attacked on serve-receive. She has a better feel for playing the position, which allows her to operate more freely on the attack or block. While Schulte shows usable height and long arms at middle hitter, she also adds leaping ability and consistent timing. If Schulte continues her improvement into the 2025 campaign, she has a chance to be a breakout performer in the MVC. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
