Close-Boyd was tabbed as a Top Performer at the SLC Showdown Showcase; the junior outside hitter is long and rangy with a whippy arm swing. Court coaches liked how the 2026 prospect worked hard on every rep, and another mentioned her ability to transition and urgently get her feet set on each approach. Close-Boyd continued her dynamic play in the tournament, ripping kills to the hard angle and dropping in smart off-speed shots when she saw an opening.

The 2027 attacker had good, hard hand contact on her swings and showed a great press as a blocker. We watched Harris play middle blocker for Team Yakima during the tournament; she looked aggressive and decisive in transition, scoring off quick tempo sets and attacking the edges of the opposing block effectively. The West Valley Yakima sophomore is versatile; her team found her on the outside for swings before she moved into the middle as a blocker.

Decker is a smooth athlete, and she worked in various shots from the pin at the Showcase. The Camas freshman took hard swings, pushed balls to the deep corner, and has a good feel on touch tips just over the blockers. Coaches liked her hustle and grit in defense, mentioning her effort to get into the correct posture and position on every rep.

A freshman at Glacier Peak High School, [player_tooltip player_id='534519' first='Sarah' last='Box'] was all over the court defensively playing OH at the Showcase. Her quickness and solid vertical helped her score on the pin; Box has a fast arm swing and can generate power off just a step or two if she needs to attack with a minimal approach. During the tournament, SNVF moved her around to take advantage of her ability to swing from multiple spots all along the net, giving the 2028 prospect different angles and favorable matchups she took advantage of.

The junior from Tumwater High School displayed her strong overall game at the SLC Showcase, playing with determination and working hard during drills and six-on-six play. Her athleticism on the pin helped her score with hard swings off the block, and she has touch and accuracy with a roll shot she likes to deliver down the seam. Hugus has a strong build and good size; the 2026 prospect will be an excellent pick-up for a program that needs a skilled and hard-working six-rotation player.
