The Glacier Peak 2028 outside has been putting on a clinic on tooling the block this club season. Box has great vision and control; she can find high hands and edges, leaving defenders wondering, “What just happened?” She is playing all-out defense in the middle back and takes pride in delivering quality passes that her setters can turn into quality attempts offensively. Some players understand angles and how to work their platform and body into the spots that work- Box has that covered in serve, receive, middle back, and off-block defense.

The Glacier Peak player is exactly what you look for in a ball-control outside: Box is gritty and hustles, and she is rock-solid in serve receive and making plays in the middle back. At the net, she has a live arm, is quick to the ball with her feet, and can torch an accurate swing from both pins and the pipe. The 5’8″ Box is the 59th-ranked player overall in the updated rankings and will play club with Space Needle this season.

A freshman at Glacier Peak High School, Sarah Box Sarah Box 5'8" | OH/DS/L Glacier Peak | 2028 State WA was all over the court defensively playing OH at the Showcase. Her quickness and solid vertical helped her score on the pin; Box has a fast arm swing and can generate power off just a step or two if she needs to attack with a minimal approach. During the tournament, SNVF moved her around to take advantage of her ability to swing from multiple spots all along the net, giving the 2028 prospect different angles and favorable matchups she took advantage of.

The Space Needle outside is an accurate scorer from the pin; she has a short, quick arm swing that generates heat defenders struggle to handle. Box has a driving float serve she hits deep and into the seams to knock teams out of system. Defensively, she reads the game and consistently is in a position to make plays in the back row and as a blocker.
