Marvelous Middles from 15U Iowa Regional Qualifier

She's an athletic middle with explosion off the floor, a good vertical with hang-time and a powerful right arm. Schaack plays within herself, taking advantage of what the opponent gives her. She shines in the middle for this talented squad, but her agility and dexterity would work outside. Schaacks long arms and timing help her defend the net. She is tall with long arms, complementing those natural gifts with sharp volleyball skills. Stanfel jumps very well, allowing her to rise above the next and get off clean swings. She sees the court well to avoid the block and find holes in the opponent's defense. The hand-eye coordination and strength needed in softball help her at the volleyball net. The explosiveness and burst from track pairs well with what's required on the court. Sandholm stands out for the power she produces on the attack and for her timing in defending in the front row. Her height and long arms make her a prototypical middle. Molden is light on her feet and moves well laterally. She shows a good vertical leap and a reliable swing. She's been one of the better pop-up prospects in the state. Miller is an explosive athlete with the versatility to play anywhere along the net. Rockets use her in the middle, where her athleticism plays up. While she gives up height and arm length against some opposing middles, she makes up for it by being agile and athletic. Moore leaps well and already brings power in her swing. It helps her generate usable power in her swing and defend against the opponent's attack. She showed a good feel for the game during the 2025 Northern Lights and Iowa Regional Qualifiers.
