Nebraska Bid Tracker: Club Legacy 15 Alpha Wins Show Me Title

Club Legacy is on the board, and this is a big one.   The second weekend of Kansas City's Show Me Qualifier featured two 15s divisions: 15 Liberty and 15 American. We've already covered <a href="https://prepdig.com/2025/04/nebraska-bid-tracker-south-central-ne-15-black-joins-the-club/">South Central NE 15 Black's bid-earning triumph</a> in 15 Liberty after the team's runner-up finish. Now, it's time to address the 15 American champions.   Most teams enter a qualifier weekend with high expectations, but Club Legacy 15 Alpha might have taken that a step further in Kansas City. 15 Alpha was slotted as the No. 1 overall seed in 15 American and brought a long list of team accolades into Kansas City. This might have levied a little extra pressure, but Club Legacy was ready to handle it.   The American division only leaves one bid up for grabs, and Club Legacy claimed Kansas City's offering. The Great Plains Region ultimately nabbed two of the three available 15s bids in Show Me's second wave.   That's a worthy weekend of work.     Backing Up the Hype   Club Legacy 15 Alpha left little doubt about its frontrunner status as Show Me's results rolled in.   This Great Plains Region challenger did not drop a set through two rounds of pool play. That already says a lot. None of 15 Alpha's opponents surpassed 19 points in a single set during Friday's slate.   Day 2 typically offers bigger challenges, but Club Legacy maintained the same dominant form we saw in the opening round. Saturday's schedule included a momentous win in a Great Plains duel against VCN 15 White.   Even with all this success, 15 Alpha was still four wins away from bid-earning glory. This single-bid division demands a championship.   Club Legacy's streak of set victories extended to 16 after two more sweeps to open bracket play. The first adversity came in the semifinals as St. Joe Storm claimed a 25-17 Set 1 win over 15 Alpha. This is where the team's resilience entered the picture, leading to a dominant Set 2 win. Club Legacy won the tiebreaker to secure a spot in the title bout.   Iowa's Adrenaline 15 Leslie was the final challenger. And, like the semifinals, 15 Alpha's opponent ran away with the opening set. Club Legacy found one more push to swipe Set 2 and force a race to 15.   This Nebraska-Iowa showdown delivered, and the Great Plains Region prevailed. A 15-12 breakthrough put 15 Alpha on top of the pedestal--right where the team started the weekend.     Skyrocketing Class of 2028 Stocks   Our Class of 2028 watch list is about to transform, and this 15 Alpha roster will be a major driving force.   A couple of 15 Alpha's standouts have already landed in our database after standout performances on the Prep Dig Circuit. Elkhorn North freshman [player_tooltip player_id='575239' first='Nora' last='Morgan'] is a multi-dimensional force who exhibited her terminal arm and steady platform at our showcase outings. She can fill a prototypical 'L2' role as an outside hitter who can do a little of everything.   We're also excited to see [player_tooltip player_id='694161' first='Ella' last='Marcinek'] thriving at high-profile club venues. This Bennington athlete was one of our top-performing setters on last year's showcase circuit, so her emergence with 15 Alpha is no surprise. Marcinek is athletic enough to command a 5-1 offense and opens up split-block opportunities for her teammates.   <figure class="wp-block-image alignright size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2024/12/37-Nora-Morgan.jpg?w=871" alt="" class="wp-image-731188" style="width:287px;height:auto" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Morgan</figcaption></figure>   Most of the other names on 15 Alpha's roster will be new additions to the 2028 watch list. Where do we even start?   We've seen several dynamic players assert themselves at multiple positions this year. We're immediately drawn to [player_tooltip player_id='774684' first='Madyson' last='Jacobson'], a Millard South freshman who tallied triple-digit kills for the Patriots last fall. Her pin-hitting presence was a game-changer, but Jacobson has also logged impressive reps at setter this year. This emerging star anchors 15 Alpha's operation and will remain a factor through the postseason.   Let's stay on the pins to address a few more Club Legacy stars. Aside from Jacobson's ability to swing on the pins, we've also watched [player_tooltip player_id='774690' first='Emersyn' last='Buechler'] flourish at opposite. She can be a takeover wing blocker and has added plenty of firepower behind the setter. Buechler is the perfect complement to the left-side firepower from [player_tooltip player_id='763640' first='Kelsie' last='Holder'], whose explosive approach has made her a go-to hitter. We've also had a glimpse into the future with Class of 2029 attacker Kamryn Hohenstein contributing on the outside.   This leads us into the middle. Ta'Riah Hansborough has been a breakout performer at this position and is agile enough to terminate in multiple gaps along the net. Look for her to get active whenever 15 Alpha gets a good pass.   Club Legacy's exceptional middle depth is bolstered by Josie D'Agosto finding her groove during the midseason stretch. We also have our eye on Omaha Marian freshman Trinity Rocha, who could be a future factor in a stacked Omaha scene.   Of course, defensive specialists need a heap of credit on any successful Great Plains team. [player_tooltip player_id='774692' first='Lucy' last='Stockdale'] has anchored the libero jersey through much of the 2025 season and has seized a leadership role in the passing pattern. Her saves have influenced many of 15 Alpha's biggest triumphs. Club Legacy also has the luxury of deploying [player_tooltip player_id='774686' first='Ansley' last='Hall'] in the middle-back area to stabilize first contacts even further. The future is bright for this defensive duo.   But, before we glimpse too far into the future, unfinished business remains in the 2025 season. 15 Alpha has more to accomplish in Dallas.
