Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
Bennington found a late-season groove to reach the Class B tournament, and Marcinek played a critical part in that resurgence. She dialed up key serving runs and was willing to slot into a setter-hitter role if needed. That repertoire made her a perfect fit for the Nebraska Exposure Tour, where Marcinek was an all-around force during six-on-six duels. She challenged opposing hitters with her technically sound block and had several quality touches at the net. The Badgers are locked in for years of success at the setter spot.

Marcinek was willing to do a little of everything to help keep Bennington’s postseason streak alive. This multi-position star was a lethal server off the bench and played fearless floor defense in any zone along the end line. We’ve also watched Marcinek thrive in the Club Legacy gym, where her prowess as a setter and an attacker have shone. The rising junior will now make a repeat apperance on the Prep Dig Circuit and exhibited her extraordinary development since her last visit.

Marcinek fits the mold of so many other successful dual-role players in the Club Legacy gym. She’s a dynamic athlete who can distribute the offense or become an impactful right-side hitter in the front row. Of course, this Bennington native can also do both during her trip around the rotation. Marcinek and Club Legacy 15 Alpha captured the 15 American title at Show Me, securing the division’s only available bid in Kansas City. That’s a triumph worthy of a second act in Dallas.
