She dishes out a ton of heat in the crosscourt and knows when to vary her shots to keep opposing defenders off balance. Moreover, 17 Black trusts Elsasser to carry significant serve-receive responsibilities, even while she's in the front row. The Lincoln North Star junior wields her amazing length to hit over the top of any hands in front of her. Bowen has also enjoyed an expanded backcourt role and has dialed in her defense on the club stage. We watched Suljuzovic lift her squad to a Silver bracket championship at the Show Me Qualifier, adding to a long list of accolades for 17 Alpha. The Lincoln East prep athlete is an efficient frontcourt hitter, but she can make waves as a primary defensive specialist if needed. Schlegelmilch has a wealth of experience locking down the middle-back area and has upgraded [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE']'s passing this year. Waters remains one of the core contributors to the team's success, and she can play almost any position around the dial. Her terminal right arm has produced several highlight moments at the opposite position, but Waters brings much more to the 17 Select operation. She's also a proficient backcourt setter and handles second contacts with incredible finesse.
