Banzai VBC 17 Select has been one of our favorite squads to follow this year. Waters remains one of the core contributors to the team’s success, and she can play almost any position around the dial. Her terminal right arm has produced several highlight moments at the opposite position, but Waters brings much more to the 17 Select operation. She’s also a proficient backcourt setter and handles second contacts with incredible finesse. Indeed, Waters could have joined our setter feature, too.

It’s about time we brought Waters into our watch list. Banzai VBC has wielded plenty of talented 2026s, and we can’t forget to add this all-around athlete. Waters has worn so many hats on the volleyball court. She can run an offense, hit from the frontcourt, and lock down the back row as a defensive specialist. Her starting reps with Bellevue East last fall proved that Waters is ready to withstand a Class A schedule. 2024 offers new challenges.
