Class of 2028 State Ranking New Additions Vol 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are very proud to publish the class of 2028 State Ranking List and official Watch List.  There are 51 players on the Rankings and 106 players on the Watch List.  We have been watching the 2028 class very closely throughout the entire high school and club season.  A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles.  We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects.  The following players showed us all that they deserved to be listed in the rankings due to their individual performances. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Please officially welcome Miss Hodges to the State Rankings.  She is currently ranked as the best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings.  She plays at San Juan Hills High School and for the Tstreet volleyball club program.  We have been watching her for the past two years and couldn't wait to crown her in her rightful place amongst the stars.  There are only a handful of middles that I have seen in my 25 years of coaching that can take over a match and she is one of them.  There are some dangerous middle blockers out there but Megan takes it up to another level.  As an opposing coach, you must know where she is at all times, because she is deadly at the net.  Her club squad runs her on a variety of play sets and uses her athleticism very well.  She is doing all of this in the open level while playing in an older age group.  She has total control of her body in every aspect of the game and can dominate in an instant.  Although listed an a middle, there is no doubt in my mind that she can play any position she wants to on the court.  With her physical skill set and high volleyball IQ, I know we will see her in the Olympics in the future.  As a blocker, not only does she have the height, power and balance, she also has the court awareness and vision to set up correctly on the hitter's attacking shoulder in order to block their attacking angle well.  She is a phenom and whichever school wins the chance to have her on their roster will win the lottery.  Please help us congratulate her on her achievement of being listed as the best player of this state in her grad class. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- as the 2^nd best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings.  She plays for Murietta Valley High School and also the Coast volleyball club program.  Miss Tukua really impressed me this year as I watched her squad compete in some of the biggest tournaments of the season.  It almost seemed as if she got better when the competition got harder.  I have heard that “star players step up when the spotlight shines bright on them” and this couldn't be more true as I watched her ball out on the big stage.  In the front row, I saw her rise up and attack with a ferocity that was unmatched by anyone near her.  In the back row, she was flying all around trying to pick up everything that came near her zone in middle back.  What was really telling about her was when her team needed a score during some crucial point in a match, she was ready and willing to be that “go to” player for them.  I love watching her celebrate with her teammates as it is truly infectious and helpful to create or keep momentum on their side of the court.  She is the true definition of a six rotation OH1 and we cannot wait to watch her get even stronger over the next few years.  Please help ranked as the 3^rd best overall player and top libero according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings.  She plays volleyball for Glendora High School and also plays for the Tstreet volleyball club.  When comparing all of the players in this wonderful list, we had to take into consideration why certain players were asked to play up in an older age group.  Kaleia is not 0nly playing up, but in the starting lineup and considered a game-changer for her squad when it comes to ball control.  Not only is she a genius in serve receive, but her defense is on another level.  Routinely, you will see a  ball that is destined to hit the ground because no one is anywhere near it and then here comes Kaleia flying out of nowhere to save it from scoring.  I would love to get some measurements of how far her defensive range really is because it looks phenomenal.  Hard driven balls are no problem for her as she has such a nice and soft natural touch on the ball with her platform.  This young lady will be a solid addition to any college program in four years if this is where she is starting her freshman high school year from.  Keep your eye on this young lady as she is one to watch.
