She uses her athleticism to her advantage while blocking and taking swings from anywhere on the court. She sees the block in front of her and takes a fast swing just outside the edges of the block. She can be deadly from the outside but helps provide another option out of the back row. She was surprising opponents with a variety of shots, including an off-speed shot or destroying the seam by speeding up her armswing. She puts a lot of power behind the ball, and with her reach, she can work over a lot of blocks. Connelly was a solid 6 rotation outside for Juniors this weekend, and she could terminate from anywhere on the net. She also takes a well-timed aggressive approach and follows that with a calculated swing down the line. She has definitely grown her range of shots and consistency throughout this season.
