Scouting Reports: 2028s at LOVB Recruiting Showcase

Much of it graduated, providing the opportunity for Burbridge and others to compete for playing time. Based on her performance at the recent LOVB Midwest Recruiting Showcase and watching her in club this season, Burbridge appears ready for the chance. Accuracy and consistency putting the ball where her attackers can get a clean swing is a strength. Burbridge is quick and athletic, which helps her move effortless around teammates in getting to the ball. She also contributed 56 kills and 31 digs. If her performance at the LOVB Midwest Recruiting Showcase in June is any indication, Dunlap is prepared for a big step forward from there this prep campaign. Her height and long arms make her an obstacle defending at the net. The opposing attack must account for Dunlap and adjust to her presence. Her swing is potent from the middle and on the right side. That position versatility should open a lot of doors for her on the recruiting trail. Dunlap is one to watch in 2025 and beyond. The freshman contributed 82 kills, 37.0 blocks and 60 digs. She already looks the part. Now it's a matter of reps and honing her skills. Evans competed well at the LOVB Midwest Recruiting Showcase in June, looking a breakout player for the upcoming prep season. Not many teams in the Tri-Rivers Conference will match up with her well. Evans has a good feel in the middle, putting away quick sets and slides with power. She showed that during the LOVB Midwest Recruiting Showcase in June. Huntrods held strong in the back row of an event with powerful swings. She did that as a freshman for Ballard's varsity last season. Here 141 digs put here among the team leaders and led to 19 starts on the campaign. That athleticism helps Huntrods find success. She moves fast laterally and shows sharp reflexes. Jirovsky is a multi-sport athlete, which manifests itself on the volleyball court in explosion, leaping ability and power. While training in other sports costs her development time in volleyball, her potential stands out as she continues sharping her skills in that endeavor. That was on display watching her compete at the LOVB Midwest Recruiting Showcase in June when she had a break from softball. I watched her shine for Platform Elite this club campaign, and she stood out again with her performance at the LOVB Midwest Recruiting Showcase in June. Kane lists her position as setter, and she's looked good playing it. Her offerings are precise and consistent, getting the ball to all three front-row spots on the time.
