With over 500 kills in her varsity career at Riverside, there is a feeling that Zgonc will grow her numbers and impact in 2025 given what she showed she can do throughout a high quality club season. With some of the best arm speed in this class and a broad range of scoring ability, Zgonc can punish the ball with her arm. Equally impressive is her passing and defense at the net and behind the block. With 115 aces and 448 total digs entering her junior season, Zgonc is one to keep an eye on regarding prospects that create a balance of impact over a variety of game phases. Her impressive club season led to her recent commitment to DI Miami University (Ohio).

Newland was impressive in the libero jersey for her [program_tooltip program_id='431573' first='RockCity' last=''] club team over recent months. She has improved her court presence and impact with her ability to read and react with quickness and a good first step that can create a lot of range. She has good defensive tools to dig with her platform or make a big effort to increase creating opportunities for her team's transition with her pursuit of the ball. Her serve receive impact is also key as she shows good efficiency to move on balance and create good angles to put her setter in system often. In 2024 for Lake Catholic, Newland picked up just over 100 digs on the season. Look for her impact to grow in 2025.

Beard is one of the more recent commitments in this 2027 class with an impressive opportunity ahead of her at Colorado of the Big 12. At 6'0, she is a strong presence on the left side of the court as she can bring some good heat off her arm as a primary attacker. Her range of offense at the left pin and out of the back row also includes high contact and good arm control and movement that can be difficult to slow down. Just shy of 500 career kills for Strongsville, she produced similar outputs her first two varsity seasons as she is averaging 3.5 k/s on a .326 efficiency for her career as she gets set to enter her junior season.

A third team all-Ohio selection in DIV in 2024, Thornsley was a stat machine last season, which propelled her into a club effort that solidified her as one of the better two-way prospects in this class in Ohio. He ability to distribute the offense as well as lead her team with her arm is impressive. For Circleville, she is approaching 400 career kills to parallel the 735 total assists and 368 digs she has earned as well over two varsity seasons. She earned all-tournament honors in leading her club team to a 5th place finish in the 15 American division at the USAV GJNC.

Stutzman (*pictured) makes one of the biggest jumps in these rankings following a very productive club season where she helped guide her team to a 9th place finish in the Premier division at the AAU national championships. The lefty dual threat can swing with some of the best court awareness and arm control, while also being able to generate a lot of heat. She will enter the 2025 high school season for Taylor following her best varsity output in 2024 where she dished over eight assists and terminated two kills per set while picking up over nine digs per match, all of this earning her an all-Ohio honorable mention selection in DIV.
