With the updated rankings comes the positional breakdowns. This edition focuses solely on setters that are fully capable of running the entire offense of whatever team they are on, and could do so at the collegiate level starting in the fall of 2027. Here are five athletes from five different clubs that can make a difference for any college lucky enough to have them.

The most COMPLETE setter available in this class, Anabelle has been the setter for 4A top ten Center Grove's varsity since her freshman year, and has been the top setter for the various clubs she's played with. Spending this past season with Circle's 16-1, Miss Schembra has developed into a highly athletic and dynamic setter that can do anything a setter needs to do and does everything any volleyball player should do well. Competitive as any, she's slowly perfected her craft of setting over the years, and has morphed into an indispensable part of every roster she's been a part of for the last two years. On a more personal take, I'm surprised she's still available. This is a next-level setter ready to go right NOW.

Tucked neatly away at Franklin Central, Emily is an athletic and relentless setter that has been the unflashy version of Anabelle, listed above. Emily does her job, does it well, and does it without the attention and accolades that a lot of setters in this class are accustomed to receiving. She fits well into a 5-1, but could slot in as a 6-2 setter for a larger school when needed. Always on open-level club teams and one of the main reasons Franklin Central is even relevant in volleyball, Emily makes everyone around her better, which is good enough for me.

Every once in a while, Crawfordsville produces open-level talent. Recently, one of their grads moved on to play at D2 Indianapolis, yet I see Claire as reaching higher, possibly small-to-mid-major D1. Her length, size and set placement graduate well to the collegiate game, and the training she's received at the club level has really upped her game in the last year or so. Again, Miss Peacock is also an unassuming setter who leads by example and consistency—-exact traits that are highly marketable at most schools.

As part of Munciana's 16-1 last spring, Emily did a little of everything for her Mustangs. As a setter, every set, regardless of where the ball is passed, stays in the same tempo. As a defender she's a better blocker than the athletes listed here, and sets strong hands to go against tough outsides, making her better than average for setters. As an attacker, she picks the perfect times to go over on two contacts, and has perfected scoring points in that manner. Overall, Miss Blevins is a strong, reliable setter who has played high-level ball for a while now, and should already be on some schools' radars for the plethora of skills she can bring.

Smaller than the rest of the setters listed today, Claire is a strong and consistent setter who can get to a ton of passes because of her foot speed to out-of-system plays. Keeping the set in the same tempo, regardless of the pass, is one of her many positive traits that keeps her teams in the winning column. Defensively, she acts more like a 6-2 setter, as her “defense first” mentality on the floor is better than most.
