Her skills defensively and in the passing game were on display this recent club season as Spiesz announced her commitment to the University of South Carolina Upstate just ahead of the new year. She is a very capable attacker and will return even better following a productive club season with her Spirit team. The lefty swings aggressively and with a veteran mentality. She has good arm speed and is a tough task for opposing defenses.
