Creativity and communication define Alexis's game. She thrives on moving the ball around to different hitters, using her vision and quick thinking to keep the offense unpredictable. Off the court, she describes herself as talkative, which translates into a strong connection with her teammates in matches. This offseason, she has prioritized her defense, knowing that at the next level, teams often target the setter to take them out of system. She has been working on reading attackers early and digging balls cleanly to stay in the play. “It doesn't matter who is on the other side of the net. I am always confident that when we put our best foot forward we can beat anybody.” As Oak Ridge begins its season, Alexis is positioned to lead with composure while running an efficient and creative offense.
