These standout setters are not only known for their amazing defensive instincts, offensive strategies, but also for the leadership they bring to their teams—both in competition and off the court. In her sophomore year, PCDS reached the finals once again but came up short against Trivium Prep, totaling 501 assists as a sophomore. Undeterred, Josie came back stronger her junior year, showing remarkable composure under pressure. Her leadership helped knock SCA out of contention and propelled PCDS back to the top of 2A with a championship win in 2024. Under Sidney's dynamic leadership, the team has surged to a 13-1 record — their only loss coming in a hard-fought, five-set battle against defending 3A State Champions, Valley Christian. In 2A, she's helped lead her team to the state play offs two years in a row.
