Sophomore outside hitter for New Berlin, [player_tooltip player_id='586861' first='Willow' last='Kumprey'], was key in every aspect of the game with 16 kills and a 0.382 hitting percentage. She also contributed 2 aces, 2 blocks, 9 digs, and 20 service receptions. The setters for this team put in work.
Arrowhead swept Mukwonago

Arrowhead had a dominant sweep over Mukwonago with a 25-11, 25-20, 25-14 sweep in conference play. Junior setter [player_tooltip player_id='509343' first='Taylor' last='Wold'] had 28 assists, 10 digs, 3 aces, and 2 kills. Taylor is a huge energizer and natural leader on the court. Wold spread her offense incredibly well with numerous hitters involved, including junior middle [player_tooltip player_id='810252' first='Addie' last='Merck'] (8 kills on 15 attempts and 0 errors), senior outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='277436' first='Leila' last='Arens'] (9 kills on 21 attempts with 0 errors), and junior pin [player_tooltip player_id='486283' first='Natalie' last='Krogwold'] (5 kills on 16 attempts with 2 errors).
Waukesha North swept Greendale

Waukesha North is making a statement as it joins the Woodland Conference this year. They have had a very successful season so far and are only continuing that into conference play. Senior outside hitter, [player_tooltip player_id='284081' first='Sophia' last='Hultman'], was a huge force with 11 kills and hitting 0.400. She also had 4 aces, 6 digs, and led the team in service receptions. Freshman pin Ryanne Eagon was another big weapon at the net with 7 kills and 2 blocks. She also had 2 aces, 6 digs, and 8 assists. Senior DS/L Katie Brauhn led the way on defense and serve receive. When I saw this team play at the Crusader Cup, what stood out the most was the true team effort. They are a team on the rise and one that will not go down without a fight. They are currently 2-1 in conference play and competing for one of the top spots in the Woodland West.
