I spent a good amount of time courtside taking pics and watching the players bring their best to the Gauntlet. Krogwold was one of those players that came to play. She is an outside that sees the game really well and does a great job finding open spots, whether it is hitting the seam or putting down the hard line or cross shot. What I appreciated most was how well she responded to her teammates and coach. If someone called out “line”, she listened and made the adjustment and attacked that area which more often than not, led to a point for her team. Krogwold is truly a dynamic team player that any coach would be lucky to have.

Krogwold has an Indiana Jones kind of “whip” of an arm. Her arm speed is elite, allowing her to generate massive velocity with a relatively short window in which to do it. When she’s in the system, she is almost impossible to stop.

When Natalie gets going, she is absolutely explosive. She can take massive rips on the pin and has a very high contact point. She is fearless at the net and adjusts very well in out-of-system situations. She impressed at the Top 250 Expo last weekend, and it was great to see her outside of the school or club world. Natalie could have a breakthrough club season this year – her physicality and court awareness have really elevated her game.

Natalie was an absolute powerhouse on the pin. She is a player I have not had the opportunity to see much, but wow, did she impress. Natalie took big swings and was a consistent force to be reckoned with. She caught my eye numerous times throughout the event and is a player to keep an eye on.

I would have liked to see what Natalie’s hitting efficiency was at the Expo. I feel like every time I saw her she was manufacturing kills. Natalie has a big vertical and powerful arm swing.
