We've found the perfect way to introduce our next showcase series.

Our showcase events leave lasting impressions. Every time we visit the Prep Dig Circuit, we discover new names to follow for months and years after the event's conclusion. The next discovery opportunity is quickly approaching as we announce this fall's new Prep Dig Exposure Tour.

The Exposure Tour will usher in our yearly winter wave of showcases, and Nebraska is in the mix again. We'll head to Nebraska Elite on Nov. 29 to cover high school athletes of all classes, and we can't wait to see everyone there. Of course, this announcement has us looking back at all the memories we've logged at past events.

We recently logged some showcase reps at the end of July, but our catalog of "alumni" goes back years. Here are a few athletes playing their best ball this fall after making a prior trip to our circuit.

Thayer-Mencke has been a big-time scorer for Fort Calhoun since she stepped onto the scene as a freshman. Despite setting a high bar early on, Thayer-Mencke has raised the standard en route to head-spinning numbers this fall. She only needed 25 sets to reach triple-digit kills and has started with a career-high 0.333 hitting percentage. This production has propelled the Pioneers to an 8-2 record to climb the ultra-competitive Class C1 leaderboard.

We always harp on how difficult it is to form unfamiliar setter-hitter connections in showcase environments. Despite this challenge, setters like Redden find ways to break through and stand out. This Wayne High School junior was a dependable distributor during her showcase trip, and her prep numbers back up that strong performance. She has dished out 8.7 assists per set for the Blue Devils and has added some wicked serving runs to the fray, too. Redden could be the catalyst for Wayne's continued climb in the Class C1 hierarchy.

Marin was identified as one of our top performers from our most recent summer showcase in La Vista. The Banzai VBC standout built on an exceptional club season by dominating at the net among her peers. Marin has enjoyed similar success with Millard North and is hitting nearly 0.300 in her first matches as an upperclassman. The Mustangs find creative ways to get Marin involved in the offense, whether it's in the middle or on a slower tempo to the pins. She can do it all.

Staehr was a can't-miss performer during her last showcase visit, but that outing was just the start of her ascent. She climbed to club volleyball's biggest spotlight with South Central NE 15 Black and made a podium push at GJNC. So, it's not surprising to see Staehr dominating during her early 2025 reps with Aurora High School. This dynamic outside hitter has already compiled 143 kills to soar past her extraordinary freshman averages. The Huskies have capitalized en route to a 7-4 start while playing a daunting early-season schedule. Staehr is built for these challenges and has helped rocket Aurora back to prominence.

Freeman High School laid a strong foundation with last year's tournament appearance, and Bartunek has kept the good times rolling with this year's 9-2 mark. Her exceptional showcase outing was the perfect precursor to a thrilling 2025 season with [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] 15 Titanium. Bartunek contributed to last fall's breakout campaign with the Falcons but has taken another leap forward in Year 2 with 8.6 assists per set. We've also seen Bartunek flourish at the net while providing the physicality needed to defend against opposing left-side hitters. The state tournament remains the standard for Freeman in 2025.

Wallraff has clearly found her footing with one of Nebraska's premier prep squads. She is already approaching the dig total she compiled over all of last season with Elkhorn North. This spring's high-level reps with [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] 16 Synergy have primed Wallraff for whatever she could face this fall, and the wins keep rolling in. A Bellevue West invite championship was the highlight of a 9-2 start, but Wallraff and the Wolves aren't done yet.
