The sophomore outside hitter was a key piece in Tompkins' comeback, playing major offensive and defensive roles for the team and keeping her level of play high during the entire match. St. Rose was their main scoring option, being frequently set at the pin and the middle back positions and swinging with power and precision to lead her team with 21 kills. The outside hitter also stepped up in big moments for the team, putting the ball down in critical moments and going on a long serving run at the end of set four and giving Tompkins the cushion it needed to win it. St. Rose registered 18 passes, six digs, four blocks and two aces in a strong all-around performance.

Playing on the right, the senior was very important for the Lady Falcons, operating as a secondary scoring option and helping St. Rose carry their offensive load. Elsasser made great use of her length and displayed excellent vision to beat blockers and defenders, tallying the team's second-best mark of 15 kills. She also demonstrated impressive versatility, hitting sets on the right and the middle and putting the ball down at a great rate when set the slide. Elsasser also had a strong blocking presence for Tompkins, registering three stops and getting many touches up at the net.

Playing opposite to St. Rose at the pin, Johnk had a solid shift and helped maintain the team's offensive power when her teammate was on the back row. The junior outside hitter was very efficient offensively and demonstrated excellent vision and technical skills. Johnk was great at finding ways to put the ball down in difficult plays, finding gaps on the block or tooling it when needed, and ended the match with 12 kills. She only played the net rotations and handled well the serves that went her way, registering eight passes.

The junior split the setting duties with sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='790680' first='Ava' last='Shepard'] and did a good job running Tompkins' offense. Merrell, who registered 28 assists, relied mostly on her pin and right side hitters, but was very effective with her distribution, not making her team's offense very predictable. The setter also deserves credit for slowly getting her middles, who are typically strong offensive options, back into the game after a slow start. Merrell also had solid production on the back row with 12 digs and served well throughout the match.

The junior outside hitter had an excellent all-around performance, making a difference on both sides of the ball for Clear Springs. Young was easily the team's strongest offensive option during the match and showed great variation, using hard-driven swings and well-placed tips to produce a team-high 20 kills. The junior's point-scoring efforts also included two aces and two blocks, adding up to 24 points. Young was also very active and productive on the back row, registering an impressive 37 passes (with no errors) and 17 digs.

Lindsey was another important offensive weapon for the Chargers, nearly matching Young's production with 16 kills. The senior outside hitter made the most of her excellent vision to score points, waiting an extra half-second to make contact with the ball and finding interesting ways to beat the block with hard-driven swings and tips. She also showed calmness in important moments of the match and continued to produce at a solid level.

The junior setter had a solid performance and was one of the reasons for her team's strong start to the match. Powell heavily relied on her pin hitters to score points and was very pragmatic with her distribution, but did a good job of always getting them in good spots to put the ball down. The setter also helped her team's point-scoring efforts, using crafty setter dumps and taking up hitting duties near the end of the second set to register four kills. Powell also performed well on the back row, producing 13 digs.
