Her 239 digs reflect her talents as an all-around volleyball player. Watching Shields in club ball, her versatility stands out. I saw Bryte during the club season and am not surprised by her success this fall. She's worked hard at improving her game, and it's paying off. LeClere is a bit undersized at the net, but she makes up for it with excellent athleticism, explosion off of the court and a technically sound game. She reads the defense well and finds open spaces to put the ball down. She sees the court well, which allows her to attack soft spots in the defense.
