4A Recaps: North Scott, Pella Advance in Four Sets

Pella and North Scott advanced to the semifinals with four-set wins.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>North Scott finished up its competition first. They recovered for a 25-16 victory in the third set and finished the match off with a 25-23 triumph in the fourth.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Mustangs were the higher seed, a four to North Scott's five. The teams competed as closely as their seeds throughout the first set. Likewise, North Scott picked itself up after losing the second set with a decisive victory in the third. A tight fourth set again tipped slightly in the [program_tooltip program_id='431978' first='Lancers' last='']' direction.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This felt like one of those matchups where the teams would go seven games if if were a series. The senior cranked out 27 kills and added 11 digs. [player_tooltip player_id='808221' first='Adalynn' last='Johnson'] backed her up with 10 kills and four blocks, while [player_tooltip player_id='389008' first='Addison' last='Allen'] handed out 40 assists and gathered six digs. The senior led her team with 16 kills, and was second with 17 digs and 15 assists.
