Allen has been at events I’ve scouted for the last few seasons. She’s steadily improved during that time and blossomed into a reliable contributor at her position. For the Rockets, she shares the spot, giving that squad consistently usable sets for a strong group of hitters. Her 956 assists for North Scott last season represented the 14th most in the state among all classes. Allen helped that program back to the state semifinals a year after it won a Class 4A title by adding 144 digs, 29.0 blocks and 47 kills. Allen’s best traits are consistency and feel for the game.
