<p>The Kansas Volleyball Association announced yesterday the 2025 All-State Teams, Players of the Year, and Coaches of the Year by state classification.</p>

<p>Here is a look at the seven athletes named Player of the Year for their respective division.</p>

<p><strong>Class 6A – [player_tooltip player_id='480396' first='Peyton' last='Kubik']</strong>, 6'2”, OH, Blue Valley West, '27</p>

<p>Kubik rolled up all kinds of accolades this season for the State Champion Jaguars. Kubik recorded 483 kills during her junior season. She is ranked No. 2 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026 and has verbally committed to the University of Pittsburgh.</p>

<p><strong>Class 5A – [player_tooltip player_id='222089' first='Grace' last='Martin']</strong>, 5'11”, OH, St. Thomas Aquinas, '26</p>

<p>Martin had an outstanding season for the State Champion Saints. She finished with a career-high 374 kills for the Saints. She is ranked No. 4 overall by Prep Dig Kansas and is verbally committed to Arizona State University.</p>

<p><strong>Class 4A – [player_tooltip player_id='357543' first='Hayden' last='Grimes']</strong>, 5'9”, OH, Andale, '26</p>

<p>Grimes helped lead the Andale Indians to a State Title. She recorded 419 kills as a senior and finished with over 1,100 kills for her career. She is ranked No. 20 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026 and is verbally committed to Colorado State University.</p>

<p><strong>Class 3A – [player_tooltip player_id='808102' first='Sofia' last='Simic']</strong>, 6'2”, OH, Hoisington '27</p>

<p>Simic is one of only three juniors to be named KVA POY in 2025, and one of only two who did not participate on a state championship team. She finished with 574 kills this season and is on pace to eclipse 2,000 career kills next season. She is ranked No. 5 overall by Prep Dig Kansas and has verbally committed to the University of Illinois.</p>

<p><strong>Class 2A – [player_tooltip player_id='524466' first='Regan' last='Widener']</strong>, 5'11”, RS, Ellinwood, '26</p>

<p>Widener was an integral part of the Eagles' undefeated state championship run. She registered 340 kills as a senior and tallied 165 career blocks. She is ranked No. 64 overall and is verbally committed to Fort Hays State University.</p>

<p><strong>Class 1A DI – [player_tooltip player_id='698050' first='Arika' last='Feldman']</strong>, 6'1”, MB/S, Little River, '26</p>

<p>Feldman was a net monster for the State Champion Redskins. She recorded 343 kills for Little River as a senior. She has verbally committed to play basketball for Fort Hays State University,</p>

<p><strong>Class 1A DII – [player_tooltip player_id='483912' first='Gretchen' last='Bott']</strong>, 5'8”, S/RS, Linn, '27</p>

<p>Bott was the third junior named POY. She led Linn to a runner-up finish at the State Tournament. Her junior season totals included 479 assists, 309 digs, and 375 kills. She is ranked No. 106 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027 and, to my knowledge, is currently an uncommitted prospect.</p>
