From the opening whistle, the tempo belonged to the bigs in the center of the net, battling possession point by point with relentless urgency. These middles weren't just taking swings — they were dictating the flow, closing seams with disciplined footwork, pressing over the tape, and turning well-formed sets into loud, momentum-shifting kills.   Every transition was intentional. Quick attacks, tight slides, and well-timed one-footers kept defenses scrambling, while their blocking presence forced outside hitters to rethink angles and tip selections. The work didn't stop at the net either — these middles were reading plays early, communicating coverage, and hustling in serve-receive and defensive sequences to keep rallies alive.    [player_tooltip player_id='847567' first='Quinn' last='Bell'] – Middle Blocker   Bell brought a commanding presence along the net, showcasing elite timing and a disciplined block that consistently sealed seams. Her ability to read the setter's shoulders and close late created frustration for pin hitters trying to tool the edges. Offensively, Quinn ran a smooth 31 and was highly efficient in transition, converting quick attacks with sharp angles and high contact. What separated her was her vocal leadership — constantly calling block schemes and adjusting coverage, proving she understands the chess match happening at the net. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas     [player_tooltip player_id='853084' first='Madison' last='Rothgery'] – Middle Blocker   Rothgery's athleticism jumped off the floor. Her lateral movement was fluid, allowing her to press over and take away cross-court with a strong, disciplined hand position. She excelled in front of the setter, executing fast-tempo quicks that forced defenses to stay honest. Madison's ability to transition from block to attack with urgency made her a constant threat, especially in broken plays where she stayed available and forced mismatches. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas     [player_tooltip player_id='701887' first='Avery' last='Reed'] – Middle Blocker   Reed played with a technician's mindset. Her block timing was precise, and she demonstrated advanced footwork when closing with the right-side pin. Avery consistently took away angles instead of chasing kills, a sign of mature middle play. Offensively, she was efficient running slides and short-gap attacks, creating space for her pins by drawing the opposing middle with her deceptive approach tempo. She punished overpasses with authority and made her presence known on every net battle. Her ability to stuff attackers one-on-one shifted momentum multiple times during the showcase. Keely thrives on contact, routinely getting full press over the net and sealing tight sets. Her aggressive mindset and competitive fire were matched by smart positioning and a relentless motor. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas     [player_tooltip player_id='880484' first='Jumana' last='Girgis'] – Middle Blocker   Girgis was a rhythm disruptor. Her closing speed and anticipation turned clean sets into hesitation swings. She excelled in read blocking, adjusting mid-rally and taking away high-percentage shots. On offense, Jumana ran a powerful front quick and showed the ability to score out of system, staying composed even when the tempo broke down. Her court awareness and ability to control pace made her one of the most tactical middles on display. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas     [player_tooltip player_id='908501' first='Kylie' last='Berg'] – Middle Blocker   Berg showcased a complete middle skill set. She moved smoothly in transition and consistently presented a strong target for her setters. Her execution on the slide was particularly impressive, creating stretch across the net and opening lanes for the outside attack. Defensively, Kylie's soft hands and patience at the net allowed her to control blocks instead of just swinging blind. She played with poise and efficiency that translated to match-winning sequences. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas     [player_tooltip player_id='789052' first='Zuri' last='Karuletwa'] – Middle Blocker   Athletic, explosive, and disruptive — Karuletwa was a physical mismatch all day. Her vertical presence forced setters to hesitate, and her palms-over press made life difficult for any hitter trying to swing line. Zuri excelled in transition, scoring off quick tempo and high balls alike, showing the ability to adapt to any offensive system.
