Which Pin Hitters Surprised Us at NSAA State Tournament? (Pt. 2)

We've been all around the dial while covering Nebraska's top standouts on the tournament stage. <a href="https://prepdig.com/2025/11/which-setters-surprised-us-at-nsaa-state-tournament/">Setters</a>, <a href="https://prepdig.com/2025/11/which-middle-blockers-surprised-us-at-nsaa-state-tournament/">middle blockers</a>, and <a href="https://prepdig.com/2025/11/emerging-defenders-who-dug-in-at-nsaa-state-tournament/">liberos</a> have all shared the spotlight during this postseason flurry. <a href="https://prepdig.com/2025/11/which-pin-hitters-surprised-us-at-nsaa-state-tournament-pt-1/">Pin hitters</a> joined the fray yesterday, but we still have more names to cover from this broad, talent-rich position group.   It's enough to warrant a Part 2.    We've had the privilege of covering Siebler at so many different venues throughout her career. She has been a standout on the Prep Dig Circuit and had several successful years in the Premier Nebraska gym. However, she wasn't done adding accolades to her ledger in her swan song season with Omaha Westside. She broke out with ten kills in the quarterfinal win over Omaha Marian and brought tons of senior stability to the passing formation. This year's veteran Warrior lineup has set the standard for future starters.     Foxhoven finds any way possible to fill up the stat sheet. That was never more apparent than in her final high school contest, when she put up seven kills and a whopping 31 digs during Wynot's championship-winning triumph over Cambridge. Even when Foxhoven is not at the net, she brings intensity through her tireless hustle along the end line. Of course, the senior could also score with her quick arm and natural athleticism. Foxhoven was an indispensable part of a historic season for the Blue Devils.     Sanmann has taken the next step in her prep journey after so many highlight-worthy plays in the Nebraska Elite gym. This 2027 prospect has always thrived in club venues with her quickness off the floor and pinpoint passing. Sanmann has now brought that influence to Bennington, a Class B program that has racked up postseason berths in recent years. She logged a team-high 0.267 hitting percentage against Elkhorn North and has now proven herself against elite fall competitors.     We can bend the rules a bit and put a setter-hitter on this feature. Beberniss led Garden County with ten kills in the quarterfinals despite playing a part-time distributor role across the back row. The Eagles were sure to get the most out of her frontcourt reps, as Beberniss' heavy arm provided a perfect counter to the Dundy County Stratton defense. This is the player to rally around as Garden County looks ahead to 2026.     Let's start with some small-town opposite representation. Powell has been a consistent contributor to Ogallala's right pin, which is exactly what the Indians needed during this year's breakout campaign. We came away from the tournament impressed with Powell's physicality and knack for producing positive block touches for her squad. These are things that transcend a box score and can elevate programs like Ogallala to frontrunner status.     There isn't a skill that Simmons didn't exhibit during Amherst's thrilling ascent to the Class D1 title. The sophomore played a unique setter role for a Bronco lineup that featured plenty of do-everything athletes. Simmons terminated from everywhere along the net and even has experience as a frontcourt middle blocker, adding to her range as an attacker. If there was any doubt about her stat-stuffing potential, Simmons' triple-double outing in the D1 championship match should paint a clear picture.     Eberhart is a sure addition to our next Class of 2028 watch list--or she might just jump right into the rankings. After primarily playing a backcourt role on last year's Lakeview team, this stellar sophomore exploded onto the scene with nearly three kills per set this fall. Eberhart led the charge again with eight kills during the Vikings' quarterfinal duel with Omaha Skutt Catholic. We love to see underclassmen who aren't afraid to spar with some of the state's top volleyball powerhouses.
