11 Clubs, 11 Uncommitted 2027s To Know

Heading into a 17s season uncommitted is always exciting.  These athletes have probably been talking to coaches, but now it gets a little more serious.  Schools across multiple levels will have a clearer picture of what they need and athletes will have a better idea of what they want to do following their prep career.  We're going to look at uncommitted 2027s from eleven different clubs across three states.     The 5'9 outside hitter/DS is a bit of a swiss army knife. She is an electric scorer who can rip from the pin with a variety of angles and speeds, taking what the defense gives her. The athleticism she brings to the court allows her to change the game. She was on 1st Alliance 16 Gold last year where she became a dynamic defensive player who can be utilized out of the backrow as an attacker. Her skillset allows plenty of potential at the next level where she can find positive ways to contribute on the court. The bottom line is she knows how to train and compete at a high level.     The 6'0 middle blocker out of Loyola Academy brings a major presence to the front line. She has a combination of physicality, athleticism, and a win span that allows her to get up quickly to block and make the opposite side think a little harder about their shot. She will be playing for [program_tooltip program_id='431567' first='Adversity' last=''] who has a strong group of 2027s with some making their verbal this past summer, but some key athletes who will be good pick ups during the 2026 season. Put Mordasiewicz on the radar among your 2027 middle blockers.     [player_tooltip player_id='530631' first='Tierney' last='Fill'] has been a key piece to the success of Michio where they always find themselves in the running for the national division title at USAV. They are a day two - day three dangerous team at the USAV Open Qualifiers. Fill brings a presence to the court where the setter is typically running a 6-2 where she can score points with her serve, she finds the open attackers, and brings a high level of energy to others. She can also defend her position as well where this team has built their brand on a strong first contact and being efficient on offense. This has been a core group that has played together for a couple and will be fun them get back on the court as 17s.     At 5'9, Kate Anderson is just a flyer on the outside. She has been a key piece to the success of MOD who had a highly successful 2025 season. They will have a group of 2027s who coaches will need to see quickly in the 2026 season. Anderson can defend, serve, receive, and score points a variety of ways with her angles, speed, and IQ. She has proven she can be really effective with a high tempo to the pin where she can cause chaos for her opponents.     [player_tooltip player_id='388454' first='Paige' last='Proefrock'] has been a name to know for I AM Volleyball Club out of the Cedarburg area North of Milwaukee. She has been an efficient outside hitter who can score points in volume. She knows how to use her angles, the block, and mix things up in order to stay unpredictable. This past high school season she went to another level for Grafton. She was named 1st Team All State where she led her team to a state runner up finish in D2, the second largest class in Wisconsin. This will be an exciting 2026 year for Proefrock and crew.     I have always been impressed with [player_tooltip player_id='435883' first='Bella' last='Kaldor']. She is extremely skilled and an all around player who can defend, set, and swing. She will most likely stay as a setter, but if you need her to score points, she can do that too. This season she will be suiting up for [program_tooltip program_id='557038' first='Milwaukee' last='Juniors'] who had some big pieces in 2025. With her physicality and athleticism, she can create so many opportunities for herself and her teammates.     Addy Oldenberg has been on the Prep Dig radar the past two seasons and most recently had a strong showing at the Wisconsin Exposure Tour. She is a strong basketball player as well which her athleticism and physicality is very apparent when she plays middle blocker. Her anticipation, lateral quickness, and explosiveness wis what sets her apart from others at her position. Her ceiling is high and her best volleyball is ahead of her. She will suit up for Elevate out of Tomah, Wisconsin where this club has been on the rise the past few seasons.     Another athlete who is coming off a big high school season is [player_tooltip player_id='828296' first='Lila' last='Shadewald']. She was the middle blocker for Sauk Prairie who claimed the D2 state title in Wisconsin. Watching her live, she knew where to put the ball for the easy kill. She can swing big, throw, tip, do what it takes to bring points on her side of the net. This club season she will play for [program_tooltip program_id='432005' first='Madtown' last='Juniors'] out of the Madison area.     One of the top middle blockers from Iowa will be suiting up for the [program_tooltip program_id='431948' first='Iowa' last='Rockets']. The first thing I notice about Galloway is how easily she moves around the court. She adjusts extremely well to where the pass is going, where her setter is at, and how she can terminate. She is a middle blocker, but out of serve receive, she finds a variety of ways to score points. However, when she gets a chance to approach and swing off one foot on a slide she is really tough to stop.     [player_tooltip player_id='555820' first='London' last='Taylor'] was the starting libero for the top team in Iowa, the Waukee Northwest Wolves. They rolled through Iowa's largest class to the state title and didn't lose many sets this year. She plays with control and poise, the first contact is in good hands with her. She will bring calm to the chaos as a libero and understands how to compete at a high level for her high school and club ball. In the 2025 she was with [program_tooltip program_id='555793' first='RVA' last='Roots'] for their 16s team out of the Des Moines area.     Absolutely electric. [player_tooltip player_id='495803' first='Ava' last='Jones'] has had a big year where she earned All State honors for Waterloo West and will be making her debut for CIA out of Waterloo for the 2026 club season. Jones is a springy, high flying outside who has a violent attack, causing chaos on the other side of the net. She had over 350 kills in her junior season and was in the top ten of Iowa's lagest class for total kills.
