Additional Top Performing Pins at Virginia Exposure Tour

When looking at some of the names of the players who signed up for the Virginia Exposure Tour the pins seemed to stand out the most. They certainly did not disappoint. These five pins below give them a total of 12 top performers at the event. Another pin ([player_tooltip player_id='443570' first='Lexiana' last='Everetts']) will be profiled in our next post (still editing the photo). Based on the level of talent at the event a number of pins just missed making the list.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Additional Pins Earning Top Performer Awards</h2>   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2025/12/PDExposureTourDMV_TP_Cheyenne-Wright.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-921825" style="width:455px;height:auto" /></figure>    Cheyenne was one of the more athletic pins at this event. When you mix that athleticism with her height that becomes a pretty healthy recipe for success. She impressed at the Endless Summer tournament this year with her play on the left side. That resulted in her rise in the most recent rankings for the Class of 2028.   At the Exposure Tour she showed a good vertical that resulted in balls crashing to the floor. Her back row play has improved a lot since I first saw her play when she was a frosh. She certainly identifies as an impact player.   For Landstown she led the team in kills. Unfortunatley, the Eagles fell short of qualifying for the State playoffs by losing to Grassfield in the semi-finals of the Regionals. Their offense struggled to find the court. When competing against older players in an event like this struggles will occur. However, her potential is limitless. She earned first team honors in the Cardinal District, one of three frosh to make the first team. Another top performer, her teammate at Woodbridge [player_tooltip player_id='747031' first='Braylin' last='Coacher'] also made first team.   Elliot has an approach jump that reaches 9'6". She also gets good arm extension on her swings. That creates tough blocking assignments for opponents. Her back row play could still see some improvement, especially in the consistency of her passing, but that should come with more experience.   Woodbridge fell short of advancing to states, losing to Mountain View in the first round of the Regionals. Now the club season starts with a very talented [program_tooltip program_id='476729' first='Paramount' last=''] 15 team that has loaded up this year. Elliot should thrive with the talent on this team, especially with her Woodbridge teammate Braylin and another top performer at our Exposure tour [player_tooltip player_id='752431' first='Kayla' last='Chang'] setting her.    <figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2025/12/PDExposureTourDMV_TP_Avielle-Lewis.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-921845" style="width:443px;height:auto" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='902360' first='A'vielle' last='Lewis'] OH (Chesapeake Math North/Bay Area Volleyball Academy) - She fell just short of a top performer award when she attended our Prep Dig frosh showcase last year. At that time she showed a good jump and swing. There was still a lot of rawness in her game but with a year of high school experience that rawness has refined quite a bit. As a frosh she led her team in kills with an impressive .385 hitting percentage. She also plays six rotations. For club she will continues to play for Bay Area Volleyball Academy (BAVA). She was recently put on our class of 2029 watch list after creating a profile. However, you will not see her name on the current watch list rankings because she was added after the rankings went out. If I voted on the surprise player of this event Sophia stands out as my top choice.   She moves well on the court and carries a good attitude. Communication for her just comes naturally. Watching her presence you would not guess she was still a frosh. She brought no fear to admitting to an error, even though it may not have been hers. At 5'11 she has good size to dominate on the left side. She just needs to add a little more experience to her game.   Sophia fell short of making a very strong Atlee varsity team this year. Looking forward to seeing what she accomplishes there for the next three years. Atlee lost in the first round of the Class 4 state playoffs to Grafton. Next year Sophia should make a significant difference in their state playoff run. This year she will move outside for Southeast Region Volleyball (SERV). At 6'0" she brings some height to the left side position. During serve receive she showed a quiet platform for passing.   Her high school team Salem experienced a rough year, finishing 4-16. (Edit: Brianna did not play her high school season choosing to focus on individual skills, conditioning and strength training). She will try to change that fortune with SERV. While she played left side she probably has the flexibility to move to right side with the versatility to also play middle when needed. Those attributes to play multiple positions are a huge asset for a team.   Watch for big things this club season from Brianna.
