Braylin won a top performer award at the frosh showcase last summer prior to the high school season. She again stood out at the Virginia exposure tour. Two different coaches pointed her out as a player I needed to watch. It didn’t take a lot of convincing since I have seen her set in high school and club on a number of occasions to know that she is a quality setter.
As a frosh she set for Woodbridge, earning first team honors in the Cardinal District. She led them to the Regionals setting a 5/1. That is a lot to ask of a frosh setter. Eventually they lost in the first round to Mountain View.
This club season she will set for a very talented
Paramount
15 team. With

Braylin started her high school season as our number 16 ranked player in the class of 2029. She also earned a top performer award at our DMV frosh showcase over the summer.
As a frosh Braylin became the primary setter on the Woodbridge team, setting a 5/1 while leading them to a second place finish in the Cardinal District. She is one of three frosh selected to the Cardinal District first team.
Besides finishing first on the team in assists, she also topped the team in service aces and was third on the team in blocks. Braylin will continue her development with Paramount .

Braylin showed good tempo when the middles were working on the quick tempo 3/1 sets. She also impressed with her defense when doing drills with the liberos. At 5’8″ she brings some good height to the position.
One of two setters on the Paramount Cozad team that will play in the National Division when competing in the USAV Junior Nationals in Dallas. It also appears that she got the opportunity to play with the frosh for Woodbridge as an 8th grader.
