Avoli Committed Athlete – Houston Exposure Tour Showcase

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>This article is sponsored by Avoli.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":919344,"width":"181px","height":"auto","sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none","align":"right"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image alignright size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2025/12/IMG_3555.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-919344" style="width:181px;height:auto" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Photo: Prep Dig</figcaption></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Dig has teamed up with Avoli, the volleyball brand built specifically for female athletes, to present Committed – a spotlight series celebrating standout athletes at each Prep Dig Showcase.&nbsp; These athletes are chosen for their leadership, sportsmanship, and relentless work ethic – the same values Avoli champions on and off the court.&nbsp; Each featured athlete receives exclusive Avoli gear in addition to their own spotlight article.&nbsp; Learn more about Avoli and explore their performance-driven footwear at avoli.com.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Houston Exposure Tour Showcase was outstanding.&nbsp; It was held at the Competitive Edge Training Facility in Spring, TX and was also live streamed via BallerTV.&nbsp; There were tons of amazing athletes from all over the nation who were giving their all in both the positional drills and also the team scrimmages.&nbsp; We had each of our court coaches watch their team and select one player from each squad that embodied the core values of Avoli.&nbsp; There were some really athletic young ladies nominated and we could not be more proud of who was selected to win this prestigious award.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["727159"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-693f2870e7cfe"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Miss Kennedi Owens is someone who we have been following for a few years now.  We were all so glad that we saw her name listed amongst the registered athletes.  As I have been following her on social media and watching her highlight reels from high school seasons, I have noticed just how dynamic she is around the court in almost every aspect of the game.  What makes her special athletically is her foot-speed.  Not only does it help her catch up to set locations that bring her inside the pins, but it also allows her to make sure that she is able to pass serves in her mid-line by quickly shuffling and stopping her feet prior to contact perfectly.  As an attacker, I also love how she is able to create tons of momentum in her approach and propel herself very high in the air to swing well above the net.  Off the court, I was able to interview her with a few questions about herself and was extremely impressed with how she carried herself.  We shared a few laughs and her smile was infectious.  Her court coaches mentioned just how great of a teammate she was with players that she didn't even know since she is from Louisiana and the majority of the players on her team were from Texas.  It is very hard in this day and age for youngsters to not only strike up conversations with others, but to get on the same page with them for strategies during tough competition.  Kennedi had no problem with this at all and you could see that she has a natural propensity to lead both by example and vocally.  In my professional opinion, this young lady will be a valuable asset to any program who gives her a chance because of what she can do athletically on the court but more importantly because of who she is as a person.  Please help us congratulate this awesome young lady for earning this prestigious prize. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes.  If you have anyone you think we should watch out for, please shoot me an email with some info at <a href="mailto:Michael@prepdig.com">Michael@prepdig.com</a>.   Also don't forget to help these kids get more exposure by sharing our stories with your friends.  Help us help them by simply reposting on X, Instagram or sharing on Facebook.  Thanks for following Prep Dig Family!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
