When I look at the Class of 2029 in Texas, this group immediately stands out. What separates these athletes is not just size or athletic ability, but how they understand the game, compete in high-pressure moments, and impact the court in different ways. Each player in this lineup brings something distinct, and together they represent a strong vision of what high-level volleyball can look like at the next stage. Below are the girls I would want in my dream lineup for their class.    Peyton is an explosive athlete who plays with intensity on every point. I like her aggressiveness as an attacker and her ability to adjust in the air. Defensively, she covers a lot of ground and brings a high motor that shows up throughout the match. Her athleticism paired with her competitive mindset gives her strong long-term potential as she continues to refine her game.     Lola is a composed and intelligent setter who manages the offense well. I like her sense of tempo and her ability to involve all of her hitters, particularly in transition. What stands out is her ability to be an offensive threat when needed, making her effective as a setter/right-side option. She leads with confidence and shows maturity in how she runs the floor.     Avery brings reliability and energy to the back row. I trust her ball control and appreciate how quickly she reads hitters and reacts defensively. She stays calm under pressure and consistently keeps the ball playable, which is critical at any level. Her defensive discipline and effort make her a valuable piece in serve-receive and defensive systems.     Quinn is a well-rounded athlete who brings consistency across all phases of the game. I'm impressed by her ability to attack effectively from both pins and stay composed in serve-receive. Defensively, she reads the game well and puts herself in good positions to extend rallies. She competes hard, plays with confidence, and has the type of all-around skill set that allows her to contribute as a six-rotation player.     Soleil's size immediately stands out, but what I appreciate most is how well she moves for her height. She uses her length effectively at the net and shows good court awareness on both sides of the ball. Offensively, she can score from different tempos and continues to grow more comfortable attacking against organized blocks. As she gains more experience, I see her physical tools translating into a strong presence at higher levels.     Madison brings a strong physical presence at the net and has the ability to impact the game on both pins. I like her timing as a blocker and the way she closes to the antenna, especially against faster offenses. Offensively, she plays with confidence and does not shy away from contact, using her strength to score through the block. Her versatility as a middle/right-side option adds value, and as her transition speed continues to improve, I see significant upside in her development.    This 2029 dream lineup reflects the depth of talent currently developing in Texas volleyball. Each athlete brings a different strength to the court, and I believe all of them have the tools to continue progressing at a high level. As they grow, gain experience, and refine their skills, these are players I expect to keep seeing on recruiting radars. The foundation is there, and the future of this class is very promising.
