UHSAA Breakdown: 4A-6A Offensive Coordinators

Back to the UHSAA breakdown we look to highlight the setters of these divisions who earned their all-state award through their talent, skill, and execution. There are several athletes whom I have mentioned in previous articles, but there are also players whom I have not seen play, and I am excited to see them in action this club season.    4A First Team    As a four-year varsity starter for the Orem Tigers, [player_tooltip player_id='892946' first='Sarah' last='Page'] totaled 3,603 assists and 1,077 digs. Her contribution and legacy she leaves behind is one of grit and passion. As a setter, she has good technique to deliver and execute offensive decisions and will dig almost every ball that comes her way. She is obviously a skilled setter, but her attitude and determination truly contribute to the kind of player she is.     [player_tooltip player_id='892950' first='Elle' last='Richardson'] ends her career with 2,148 assists and 511 digs. She's fast, energetic, passionate, and competes at a very high level. Her consistency with her hitters and technique off of tough balls solidifies her as a truly remarkable athlete.    4A Third Team    Green Canyon had multiple players receive all-state awards and their setter [player_tooltip player_id='897138' first='Elly' last='Giordano'] earned an Honorable Mention for the 4A division. She posted 2,104 career assists with 535 digs in her time with the Wolves. Elly showcases her ability to be consistent, regardless of where a pass is coming from, and executes effectively.    5A First Team    [player_tooltip player_id='892962' first='Zamari' last='Christensen'] from Woods Cross not only received her first team all-state award but was also crowned a 2025 state champion. So far in her career with the Wildcats, she has posted 2,456 assists and 712 digs. She is a competitor in every sense of the word and will do whatever it takes to win. She has the IQ to run an effective offense and delivers on a dime.    5A Third Team    [player_tooltip player_id='800756' first='Adelaide' last='Stevenson'] ends her career with the Redhawks, totaling 1900 assists and 792 digs. As a captain, Adelaide led with her competitive spirit, passion, and work ethic that continuously inspired her teammates. She has shown her effectiveness in her ability to run a 5-1 confidently and impact in every facet of the game. She keeps her middles involved, understands where the ball needs to go in critical moments, and plays good defense. In her first two years with Bountiful she dawned the libero jersey and then smoothly transitioned into the setting position for her final two seasons.     [player_tooltip player_id='724783' first='Marley' last='McCandless'] from Pleasant Grove made her first mark this season as the Vikings' starting setter. For the 2025 season, she posted 889 assists, bringing her in at #13 overall. Marley has good tempo and location with her pins and middles that keep her offense dynamic and firing.     For the next 3 seasons, the Eagles will continue to be successful with Evageline Lotuleilei at the helm. She posted 940 assists in her first season with the Eagles as a 5-1 setter. Despite her being just a freshman, she showcases her vast improvement in understanding offensive schemes to deliver and execute. With the time Eva has, she is set to be a forthcoming talent in her class.    6A First Team    In her first season with Corner Canyon, Nua posted 419 assists with 142 digs. Even though she only started playing later in the season due to transfer restrictions, Nua still lead her team to a 6A state championship. She has solid technique and IQ to run and execute an offense at a very high level.     [player_tooltip player_id='894174' first='Lily' last='Grant'] finished off her career of 1,193 assists and 353 digs with the Skyridge Falcons. She was a stable contributor throughout the entirety of the season and proved she is an effective 5-1 setter. Her athleticism, skill, and talent make her an efficient, productive asset.    6A Third Team    One of the standouts from this division was [player_tooltip player_id='894156' first='Miyah' last='Lish'] from Syracuse. In the 2025 season, she posted 931 assists, ranking her at #7 overall while so far banking in 2,008 career assists. She has great hands and tempo that help her deliver hittable balls in and out of system. Miyah is a talented setter who leads with efficiency and confidence.     In her last season with the Lone Peak Knights, [player_tooltip player_id='496731' first='Nevaeh' last='Tien'] posted 586 assists -- #5 overall -- with 204 digs. She has solid and clean technique with consistent tempo and location. Nevaeh finished off her high school career with 1,405 assists and 626 digs.    I did not get the chance to see these players in action this high school season, but the magnitude of these awards does not deserve to go unrecognized, and I look forward to seeing them on the court! Below are the players who were also selected as standouts for their division this season.   Jayla Ybright (2026) - Desert Hills, 4A Second Team, 927 assists and 202 digs   Audrey Stratton (2026) - Crimson Cliffs, 4A Second Team, 475 assists, 333 digs, and 68 aces   Oaklee Allen (2027) - Cedar City, 4A Honorable Mention, 906 assists, 353 digs, and 68 aces
