Under-the-Radar 2029s Emerge at MO/KS Exposure Tour

Let's wrap it up with the freshmen.   We've covered a lot of ground throughout our post-event coverage of last weekend's Prep Dig Missouri/Kansas Exposure Tour. Prior features have visited with <a href="https://prepdig.com/2025/12/lockdown-defenders-swipe-the-spotlight-at-mo-ks-exposure-tour/">standout liberos</a>, <a href="https://prepdig.com/2025/12/more-pin-hitters-on-our-radar-after-missouri-kansas-exposure-tour/">dynamic pin hitters</a>, and a select few athletes who landed on my <a href="https://prepdig.com/2025/12/more-pin-hitters-on-our-radar-after-missouri-kansas-exposure-tour/">all-showcase team</a>. It's only fitting that we peer into the future to wrap up our discussion.   2029s made up a large segment of our MO/KS Exposure Tour entry list, so we got a glimpse at the talent we'll see in the Heart of America Region's 15s camp. Even as someone who has primarily covered Nebraska, I'll be keeping tabs on these emerging stars throughout the qualifier season.    Cook adds to our list of outstanding signal-callers from Sunday's event. The Orchard Farm freshman showed unwavering hustle in team scrimmages and dialed in her connections as the day progressed. We also saw Cook flourish when locking down Zone 1 along the end line, producing rally-saving digs in out-of-system situations. We have a lot of clubs to watch around the Kansas-Missouri scene, and G3 Volleyball Club will be a new one for me.     If you've been following our post-Exposure Tour coverage throughout the week, you've already read about some versatile ball control gems who can set or play defense. Fenwick is another one of those athletes. We're eager to see which role materializes when Fenwick competes for Optimum 15-1 this spring. She dropped dimes in defensive drills but was just as effective on second contacts when running the show in scrimmages. Defenses will be locked in throughout the Heart of America Region.     We would have expected a [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] standout to look poised in their home gym, but Winkley still managed to go above and beyond any of our pre-conceived notions. The Missouri high school stage has already featured Winkley's well-rounded game, as she put up nearly triple-digit kills in her first season with Raymore-Peculiar. That experience translated to some high-quality reps at our showcase before this athletic middle blocker heads to [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] 15 Black in the spring. It's almost time to test that mettle against Open-level competition.     The middle blocker spot was a clear highlight of our showcase stay. As if we haven't talked enough about physically imposing frontcourt standouts this week, Dotson enters the mix with her own brand of power and precision. She works tirelessly in transition to become an available attacker in front of the setter, opening up her team's options after a well-placed dig. Dotson also contributes to the defense through her positive block touches and ability to close seams from pin to pin. She will join forces with Fenwick to create a formidable duo in the Optimum stable.     Lawrence Free State High School has seen a few shoutouts through this showcase, so Robinson's emergence here is no surprise. She embraced the fast-paced chaos of triangle drills and was a positive influence during six-on-six work. And, like any good libero, Robinson doesn't need to rack up flashy plays to help her team succeed. The unheralded act of pinpoint passing is a strength of her game.     Empire VBC has a six-rotation star to build around. Avila was proficient in any skill imaginable at the Exposure Tour, from passing in the middle-back area to terminating on the left. Her enthusiasm and on-court energy were also apparent, regardless of the situations her team encountered in Sunday's scrimmages. Expect Avila to shoulder plenty of responsibilities in the Empire gym--something she will be keen to handle.
