We continue to push the narrative of MAVS KC’s excellence at the libero position. Libero gems like Robinson have perpetuated this trend, and this Free State freshman’s development is just beginning. She patrolled the end line with confidence and poise during our Exposure Tour team drills. Robinson’s tremendous showcase outing was a clear precursor to her productive 2026 season with MAVS 816 15 National. This is a stable, reliable defender who is ready-made for the middle-back area. Her Zone 6 presence has yielded multiple top-ten finishes in the 15 Liberty race as MAVS 816 continues to find its ceiling.

Robinson is ranked No. 30 overall and will compete with Whitney at Free State for the libero jersey. She also attended the Prep Dig Showcase last December and has a quality video package online. Both Robinson and Whitney are rangy and have a little more length to their frames than you see with many liberos. No matter which one plays libero, the two of them make a formidable backrow duo.

Lawrence Free State High School has seen a few shoutouts through this showcase, so Robinson’s emergence here is no surprise. She embraced the fast-paced chaos of triangle drills and was a positive influence during six-on-six work. And, like any good libero, Robinson doesn’t need to rack up flashy plays to help her team succeed. The unheralded act of pinpoint passing is a strength of her game.

Robinson is a player I had the chance to scout last weekend at the Exposure Tour event in Kansas City, Kansas. I was impressed with defensive and communication skills on display at the Prep Dig Live Event. She has claimed her profile and will be added to the 2029 rankings.
