It was learned that Carey-Boxley is still finding her previous form after returning from a knee injury last club season. She competed for her E-W high school team this past fall and her remarks today included that she feels like she is getting back to 100% in her movement and mobility. One of just four uncommitted prospects at this session, she had some impressive moments as her athleticism and skill foundation are evident. When her feet were at the ball and she was on time in the air, she showed ability to put some big pace behind the ball.

Every coach in the gym today was talking about Waldorf starting with her first contacts at the net. The 6'2 middle is athletic and fluid, which was impressive to watch given her ability to adapt well in a setting that included a lot of prospects these athletes were not familiar with on the same side of the court. The Lakeside product and member of SIVCB showed her versatility in her offensive skill set. She is quick and explosive to elevate and swing through a variety of quick tempo options. Through today, she showed a lot of stock-rising potential given her current ranking in this WA 2027 class and following her contributions to help Lakeside to the WA state tournament.

Walcott is the real deal as a pin and she performed well as expected. As her abilities are gaining more and more attention, it is key to focus on the fundamental tools she has in her arsenal. She uses a big runway and clear slow-to-fast footwork to drive herself off the court to a big touch point where she can get ahold of the ball to score over blockers, through space, or to challenge the top off the defense at the net. Her arm is as sound as it gets with her torque action through which she can bounce the ball. The current top prospect in this WA 2028 class, it will be fun to see her compete over the next few months with the big lights upon her skill set.

At 5'10, Volkman made things happen through the competitive aspects of the session as she showed good fundamentals in her approach pattern to get to the ball through good momentum build, big lift, and good control in the air to find space and swing with some big pace. She certainly displayed why she is currently ranked as one of the top pins in this 2028 WA class as she was aggressive and terminal throughout the morning.

Pelesasa (*pictured) made an impact with her first contact attacking at the net. She can generate a big arm as she seemingly got more impressive as the session moved from controlled contacts to more competitive game play. She is terminal from the pins with an aggressive swing that can put good heat on the defense, but it was in her quicker middle action that she looked more comfortable an fluid. She also looked good mechanically in her net defense in both directions. You can see her back with NPJ this club season.
