Rochester, MN at the National Volleyball Center was packed with top-tier talent, setting the stage for an invite-only scrimmage that showcased some of the Midwest's best. This wasn't an event anyone could walk into—teams earned their spot, and the level of play reflected that standard. Clubs from Minnesota, North Dakota, and Iowa were among those in attendance, creating a highly competitive environment from start to finish.

College coaches lined the courts throughout the day, watching athletes who didn't just compete—they elevated the game in every way, raising the level of play for everyone on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='508163' first='Avery' last='Minor'] was flat-out one of the most dominant players on the floor at the M1 Invite, and her performance demanded attention. If she isn't already on your recruiting radar, that needs to change immediately. Her approach from the right side is explosive, and the airtime she generates is rare—she consistently elevates with half her body above the net. Avery pairs that athleticism with a fast, powerful arm swing, allowing her to score cleanly against set blocks. What makes her even more dangerous is her confidence in big moments; she wants the ball and delivers. With club season just beginning, Avery is a player you'll want to prioritize watching early and often. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='807870' first='Ayva' last='Jennings'] had a strong showing at the M1 Invite, standing out for her ability to adjust and stay effective on imperfect sets. She shows excellent body control and court awareness, allowing her to stay balanced and aggressive even when plays break down. Ayva understands how to use her approach and vision to keep the offense moving, rather than forcing low-percentage swings. Her composure and adaptability make her a valuable option in high-pressure situations. As club season continues, her ability to turn tough situations into scoring opportunities will be fun to track. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='731694' first='Gretchen' last='Beltrand'] made sure everyone in the gym noticed her steady, high-level play throughout the M1 Invite. As a true six-rotation outside, she brings value in every phase of the game—serve receive, defense, and offense. What really separated Gretchen was how calm and collected she remained under pressure. No matter the score or situation, she stayed poised, made smart decisions, and continued to deliver. Her consistency and maturity elevate the team around her, and that reliability will make her a major impact player this club season. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='763668' first='Taylor' last='Davis'] is a pin hitter who brings energy, confidence, and excitement every time she steps on the court. At the M1 Invite, she showed flashes that make her a player to watch closely as club season unfolds. Taylor isn't hesitant to take big swings, and she attacks with intent rather than playing safe. Her confidence fuels her offensive presence and creates momentum for her team. As she continues to build consistency and rhythm, her ceiling this season is extremely high. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='805202' first='Courtney' last='Tuttle'] is a name coaches and fans should have circled after her performance at the M1 Invite. On day two, she elevated her level of play and showcased just how versatile she can be as a pin hitter. Courtney has the ability to score to all areas of the court, using sharp placement and smart shot selection to keep defenses off balance. She showed patience and control while still being aggressive, especially in extended rallies. If she continues this upward trajectory, she's going to be a difficult player to slow down this club season. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas
